  1. I saw the pic, she's pretty hot. They shouldn't fire her but make her an anchor instead wearing a bikini, maybe they will get more viewers. NASCAR has been loosing fans over the last few years.
  2. If an American goes to Mexico and rapes and kills a 16 year old girl, let Mexico do whatever they want with him. They should be glad we got rid of the human vermin for them.
  3. It seems that the answer to everything is another new tax and it's ironic that our so-called conservative Governor wants to take a national lead on another new tax. Now other states are going to wonder just what kind of RINO clown we elected. Kinda embarrassing.
  4. News from The Associated Press Apparently Obama cares more about Mexican/American relations than he does about an innocent 16 year old child. It doesn't matter where this piece of human garbage is from, the world is a little better off without his existence. God Bless Texas. From the artical:
  5. Well everybody who voted for that closet liberal will find out just who they voted for, Bredequist the sequal. Proud voter for Carl (Two Feathers) Whitiker.
  6. ++++1 Also I lock my doors to my home when I leave somewhere knowing that a burgurlar can still come through a window and steal some of my guns, I have always hated it when certain idiots try to blame gun owners for theives stealing their guns when all the blame is on the theif. Kinda like blaming a rape victim for wearing a low cut shirt or showing too much skin. The criminal is solely responsible of whatever happens to them.
  7. Like I said before it's not simply just property, it's the principal of the matter. I've been a good law abiding citizen all my life, worked hard for all that I have and obtained it legally. The property can be replaced but it's too offensive for me to just allow some scumbag to violate my home or outbuilding and just take what I have worked for. I will confront them, I will also call the police but I wont wait for them, giving the scumbag time to get away. Like I said if he runs away I don't plan to shoot him but if he charges me that is his decision to start an altercation, not mine. I've been on a Cheatham County Tennessee jury for a law suit over a car accident and we wern't very liberal in our judgement, I would say that same jury is not going to give some criminal one dime for getting injured committing a crime. If they get themselves hurt or killed it's all their fault.
  8. Yea, I would say you may want to wait just a little while. Nice little rifle, that's the first time i've seen one of those.
  9. No situation will be the same but I would have to make the assumption that someone who would still charge me knowing that I was armed is either a drugged or psychotic person and there is a real danger of him taking my weapon, in my opinion shooting would be justified then. Also a home break in or home invasion where the invaders know people are at home makes the invaders much more dangerous people than a common burgular trying not to be seen, one would have to assume that they will definatly kill you so in my book, shooting a home invader without question is justified. At night even with a good light visibility is still poor, It's hard to determine if they have a weapon or not, if it's an out building burgurly I PLAN on ordering them to show their hands and laying flat on the ground and hope they do it. I say that I PLAN on doing that, or it's what I tell myself I will do but we all know that what we plan and what we will do can be two different things, we are not 100% sure untill we face that situation.
  10. +1 Alot of people would say it's just property but it's more about principal, I have earned through hard work what I have and the thought of some punk just taking it is extreamly offensive to me. I will do my best to stay within the law but I couldn't just watch and allow them to steal my property. Besides I would bet that alot of LEO's would actually appreciate a citizen detaining some punk they may have been looking for.
  11. Thanks, it's the perfect size for a youth gun, I would like to install a bead on it someday. I think a shot on a bird or rabbit would have to be close with an 18" barrell though.
  12. Love shooting my ol Marlin 30-30 I bought back in the early 80s.
  13. Why would I spend so much time on a cheapo Snake Charmer? Well, I didn't do all this at once and i'm definatly not going to modify any of my more expensive guns so I'll play around with my cheapos. A while back I broke the plastic stock on my Snake Charmer 2 and cutting it off to the pistol grip would have made it too short overall even though the barrel is 18+" so I had an old SKS stock that I used to make a stock for it. Then later I made the pad, I know a .410 doesn't need a recoil pad but it was already half made for another gun and easy to put the home made leather ammo pouch on, and some scrap leather for a sling. I also enjoyed doing it and thought it would be a good little gun to keep behind my truck seat. I have an assorted variaty of shells from 2 slugs, a few ooo buck, 5-#6 shot, and a few #8 shot and a cut off bolt to drop through the barrel if a shell doesn't eject which has happened with it.
  14. If I suspect someone is stealing from my tool shed/out building at night I will investigate before I call in a possible false alarm, and of course I will have a firearm with me. Now I plan not to "just shoot them" unless of course they draw a gun or charge me with a weapon. If they run I plan on letting them go but I will point the gun at them and order them to the ground first. There has been a recent increase in burgularies in my area lately and my neice in Knoxville had her car broken into a couple of weeks ago in an Apartment garage in a so-called low crime area so I'm angrier and more disgusted with scum bag theives than I used to be and if I can help it, i'm not going to allow them to get away with stealing from me. If they want to run well I hope I at least scared the crap out of them, if they comply and lay down I will be excited to press charges against them, if they pull a weapon and threaten my life I plan on shooting and if I kill them then they did that to themselves but I am sick and %@&%ing tired of these low life dirt bag theives getting away from stealing from my family and friends.
  15. Well I know that but I might want to report a car theif in my area so the police can be on the look out for them. The point I guess i'm trying to make, or question is just what is considered "using deadly force"? Showing a theif trying to steal your car or breaking into your tool shed a gun to make them stop, or actually shooting at them? I have heard before that the simple act of brandishing a firearm at someone is considered deadly force. I have before and will again recon my property with a firearm when I suspect an intruder, this is outside the house. Fortunatly it hasn't been a person yet and I don't want to call law enforcement for a racoon ratteling around in my out building so I will check it out first. I don't plan on just shooting at someone trying to steal property even if they run, but if I catch someone violating my property they may very well have a firearm pointed at them, or at least see I have one ready.
  16. The question is, how far can you go? If you see someone attempting to steal your car and you confront them to make them stop, is having your hand on a holstered gun too far? You haven't shot them, if they run and you let them go I have a feeling that a DA or LEO around here wont press charges against you. But in some opinions just brandishing a gun is considered deadly force. Of course in my opinion, which doesn't mean squat in a court room, is deadly force is actually discharging the gun.
  17. I was under the impression that Tennessee's Castle Doctron allows a property owner to CONFRONT someone tresspassing, and or stealing their property weather it be yard shed or vehicle etc. Then if the person threatens or attacks the property owner during the confrotantion he/she may very well be justified in using deadly force to protect their life. That would be different than protecting simple property. Also I believe that any AGRAVATED CARJACKING is justifiable for using deadly force weather the car jacker has a weapon or not. In Tennessee that is.
  18. If someone brings up the subject of the higher than usual temps this late May early June, mention the fact that we almost broke the record Memorial Day, 96.F set back in 1930 something. Then ask them what caused the tempature to reach 96.F in 1930. It's a FAD with most people who buy into the global warming idea, the popular trend. Also ask them what their personal excuse for driving the big SUV is. Just be glad you don't live on Venus, it's 750F, the barometric pressure is 1300 psi, and it rains sulfuric acid. I guess that's our fault also.
  19. It's called PMS because Mad Cow Disease was already taken. (Unknown Author) Not really a quote but see if the wife thinks it's funny.

    whats the deal?

Never know around here, July and August may be cooler than normal. Can't top the August/September heat wave a few years ago when for over two weeks the high was 100+ every day.
