They look like Howard Leight's. The pair I have are called SHOOTER"S BANDED EAR PODS and have a 25 db noise rating. I got them at Sportsman Warehouse for I think $6.95. Seem to work as well as the high dollar Peltor's.

Great idea, as long as you're getting a 10% annual return for 63 yeare. Not going to happen, and it doesn't take inflation into account. Think about how much $500k was worth in 1950. You could buy a nice house for $5 to $10,000.

Not in about 20 years. But you can still find some good 80's around. Series 70's are hard to find in good shape for a good price.

Reconsider moving to Dekalb Co., probably the most crime ridden county in the state. As strickj said, carrying in auto does not require a permit.

Welcome from the east side of the county. You've got a few options for indoor ranges, Shooters Depot, Carter's and one on Hixon Pike. Outdoor - Prentice Cooper (not real safe, but free) Membership - Chattanooga Rifle Club and Cleveland Hunting, Rifle, and Pistol Club.

Maybe before he goes to trial, but I suspect he will be locked up until then. I can't imagine him every getting out on bond.

Some of you must enjoy standing in lines at DL stations more than I do. I went by the Chattanooga DL to renew last year, was told to take a number. I saw a couple I know in the waiting area who told me they had been waiting over an hour. I left, went home, affixed a .44 stamp to a .05 envelope and dropped it in the mail. About 8 or 10 days later the postperson delivered my new HCP. p.s. I did renew about a month before expiration date. p.p.s. The Chattanooga DL station is legendary for slow and poor service.
