  1. So vectors are "receiver" guns and not "bolt" guns?
  2. I have been watching the sturmgewehr nfa board and the gunbroker class III section. NFA Market Board - Message Index Class III / NFA / Destructive Devices : Firearms (Modern) at GunBroker.com Vectors seem to go for $7500+, other brands a little less.
  3. I have been looking around at some class III uzis. Can you add a 22 conversion to a 9mm legally or should it have been registered as 9mm and .22 on the NFA registry when it was created?
  4. Winchester model 62. Lots of fun to shoot and they go up in value.
  5. I did a search for divorce before I posted but I am sure it has made the rounds before since it could be used for a lot of teams.
  6. * Justice in Nashville, TN (AP) - A seven-year old boy was at the center of a Williamson County courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him.. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulation requiring that family unity be maintained to the highest degree possible.. The boy surprised the court*when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried and said that they also beat him. After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. ** After two recesses to check legal references and confer with the child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Tennessee Titans*Football Team, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone!* *
  7. Sorry about the dupe. Mods please delete.
  8. I saw this on the local news tonight. They were at one of the Smyrna shows. http://www.gunshowundercover.org/
  9. You can buy a new AK for $389 + ship + ffl charges from Classic Arms Inc.. Mini 14s seem to sell used for $350 - $450. So it seems like a fair deal.
  10. Memphis sport shooting association. You have to be a member but if you want to come with me a guest sometime PM me. Memphis Sport Shooting Association
  11. I edited the post. It looks like they changed the link. You can see a cached version (clean) at the link below. Incredibly slimming down (27 pics) | Clipmarks and a video of the guy YouTube - weight loss

    Colt Peacemaker .22

Nice pistol. Like other posters have stated both cylinders will add to the value. Worth at least $300. Is it blue? nickel? case hardened? It is not worth what an old SAA would bring though.
  13. Interesting site. A.L.L. = Afghan Lessons Learned for Soldiers
  14. I think the show was pretty good. A few new vendors and it was packed. I am going to go back Sunday. The agricenter seems to be a lot better than the pipkin building. I did not see many bargains but the parachute flares for $7 seemed to be pretty cool. They had a great domain name ... http://www.weblow****uplegally.com/
  15. The Cree led lights from deal extreme are good too.
  16. I saw the flyer at MSSA this weekend. Would like to have that Barrett but there is no place to shoot it.
  17. NEXT SHOW - SOUTHAVEN, MS AUGUST 29 - 30, 2009 TRI-LAKE GUN & KNIFE SHOW Usually a decent turnout but has the typical jewelry and jerky people. I am going to drag my AR5.7 5.7x28 upper down there and see if I can sell it.

    Brighton Arms

Hopefully they will auction off the inventory. They had some nice stuff hanging on the wall.
  19. You can have a look at the guys blog ... Nerd Vittles He started using a free service from Gizmo5 and then they started charging so he is now using a python script with asterisk. I have not personally tried it but if you his comments there are a lot of people that say it works.
  20. The guy from nerd vittles has come up with a way to intergrate GV with asterisk. It is kinda cludgy but works. I am sitting on a pile of cisco 7940s, atas, etc waiting to build my asterisk server. What distribution are you using? To keep on topic... I have been using gv for the past few months. I like the call screening feature that requires unknown numbers to say their name before the call is connected. I think there are some call time limits with gv but I have not run in to them. Voicemail transcription to email works fairly well too. The quality is very good comapred to my magic jack which sometimes does not work at all.
  21. I am sitting here reading tgo on my iphone with the glow of candles and my Dewalt 18v light. After seeing all the power outages around town it looks like it is going to be a long weekend without power.
  22. Guns and ammo in memphis has one of each style ... $629 and $679
  23. Not my plan ... Just curious. The cost of these is around what you build a dedicated .22 ar for.
