  1. I am glad to see people buying the new cars and you have a nice one. Take care of them so people like me can have something to drive 6-7 years from now. Hopefully some little old lady is buying a black crewmax 4x4 tundra with a sunroof today. Don't drive it too much ma'am

  3. Let me google that for you.
  4. If you have basic computer skills you can find work here ... https://www.mturk.com/mturk/welcome (amazon mechanical Turk) ... If you have design / code skills there are a lot of places that will hire you for small projects (rent a coder, elance, etc).
  5. I have to agree. Southaven show is smaller and a lot more jewelry/tshirt vendors. Lots of parking though.
  6. I have a recruiter that contacted me and will pass along the info if anyone is interested. PM me.
  7. The ABC's of reloading.
  8. I am looking at buying a rental house that has an old but nice condtion 30x30 garage sitting out in the backyard. I am considering taking it down and moving t to my house. I think I can save the walls, rafters, and garage doors but I guess the siding decking and roofing would be trash? Would I be better off just buying the lumber and having it built from scratch?
  9. Saw this today ... no Academies in memphis Rossi 38 special revolver 149.99 + tax after credit promo @ Academy Sports and Outdoors - SlickDeals.net Forums
  10. I have a 56 chevy that I have been putting standard plates on for years. The car mostly sits in my garage and I drive it to club events or to work 5-6 times a year. Do any of you have antique plates on your cars? The statute says "can not be used for general transportation" which is kind of vague. Does driving the car to work on occasion qualify as "general transportation"?
  11. Downtown would be nice if you want to live in an apartment. There is a Memphis blogger named Paul ryburn that could help you with a place downtown. Plus he blogs about the social stuff that goes on downtown. You can view his blog at Paul Ryburn’s Journal — Daily thoughts of a Downtown Memphis resident If you want to rent a house look around central and parkway. Some really nice places overe there. My sister rented a house on higbee street and at first I was really scared for her but once I met her neighboors and spent some time over there it was a really nice place where people watched out for each other.
  12. I am a member. Lots of events going on all the time so you will never be bored. I wish that we had an indoor pistol range / tactical house but for $20 a month it is a good value.
  13. I was thinking that I would bid up to $30k or so but the bid quickly went over that. In good shape that car is $70-80k. Most likely it is something electrical that is keeping it from starting but you never know. I bought the car below with the same symptoms (turns over/no start) from ebid nashville and after spending a ton of money for no resolution at a local shop, I took it home and discovered that it had a nitrous backfire that blew the bottom of the intake manifold out. I originally thought it was a car alarm or something else keeping it from starting. Of course with a trans am you can just hop on ebay or any racing forum and get a new manifold for < $100. The ferrari parts are a little more pricey. eBid.Nashville Auction Site
  14. Could be a deal if the engine is not blown up. 2001 Ferrari 360 Modena Spider - SEIZED, INV ID: 20822-A35657-0002
  15. I have started watching this too. Interesting show.
  16. Congrats! You did a good job on the dog.
  17. Good to hear. The last one he did for me he said that if the sending dealers ffl was not in the box it would be returned.
  18. +1 to arms fair although he will only accept transfers from another FFL and not an individual. Classic arms and range usa are both in the $50 range I think.
  19. How about google docs? Data is stored in the cloud so it is accessible from anywhere which is good and bad I suppose.
  20. How about opening an indoor range and offering training classes for concealed carry, personal defense, etc? Sponsor a IDPA/IPSC team or bullseye team. I assume that range insurance can be arranged through the NRA but I suspect it will be quite a bit of money .. also there are some environment considerations (e.g. lead exposure). The ranges around here seemed to be packed every time I visit.
  21. I asked him about this last year and at that time he did not do nfa trusts.
  22. This is really what I would prefer to do but I cant find an attorney that will draw up an NFA trust and I dont really trust the quicken willmaker product.
  23. I don't know when they are going to release the skiff ebook reader or what it will cost but it looks amazing. CES: Hearst to Show Off The Skiff Reader [PICS] If you are going to buy one for tech books or if you have a bunch of pdfs laying around that you want to convert I would get the DX. The PDFS on the kindle 1 and 2 look bad but on the DX they look pretty good. Technical Document PDFs on the Kindle DX — Matthew Williams
  24. Where can I get my background check and fingerprints done?
  25. I picked up a "telescope m84", a cheek pad, and nice leather sling from a guy that was parting out his m1d. As an aside he had the t37 flash hider and a used barrel for sale that i passed on which I am kicking myself about ... regardless the question is what are my mounting options. I think the scope is a 7/8" body. I would like to find an original style mount which means drilling my rifle but would consider anything. Anyone done this before?
