  1. Did not mean to offend any dealer, bad-mouth pricing, etc. for this show. During my career, i have worked hundreds of non-firearm related shows and know quite well the labor involved in travel, expense, long hours on my feet, setup and packup, and dealing with the attendees. Now, having stated that ..... what I DID mean by “the worst” was relating to the QUANTITY of firearms at the show which was (in my humble opinion which I am sticking to) was severely lacking. Lots of tables there, but much fewer “gun tables”. I did purchase a couple of packs of pipe cleaners. Will I attend again? Of course I will.
  2. Yep, was probably the worst RK show EVER in Lebanon!
  3. Yep, me too.
  4. I agree “the Donner Pass thing” sticks a person”s mind. I have yet to forget that strange eerie feeling that came over me when we parked our HDs to walk and look around several years ago. Honestly, I was a little more than ready to go when we hit the pavement again. Think sometimes I would like to return just to see if that strange feeling would return, but then again, maybe not!! Congrats on a great and safe trip!!
  5. Regarding Memphis BBQ — to each his own, but my taste bud’s have yet to find anything better anywhere than Charlie Virgos’.
  6. Defender —- Held at the MID-TN Expo Center

  10. ID’ed for a gun cleaning kit? Unbelievable !! (Hey, not you but the situation)
  11. I fully agree condition and originality are the very essentials of pricing. I am not looking for advice sight unseen ...... just seeking a “forum expert” who is knowledgeable, willing to take a look at photos that I would send, and then offer their honest opinion. KahrMan .... thank you ...... I will be forwarding photos of the Sweet Sixteen this evening. Wayne
  12. Thank you xsubsailor. Others please??
  13. Have an older Browning Sweet Sixteen and a Savage Fox Model B 16ga double for sale, but have absolutely no knowledge regards to pricing. looking for help/guidance/direction from a fellow forum member if possible.......will gladly send photos for review, thanks, Wayne

  17. Hey y’all, I would take Fisher @ Vandy. 50% is better than most years I have suffered through!
  18. Yep TripleGGG, Jeeps are great TO TOW or TO BE TOWED!!! Seriously, just do your maintenance and they will be good to go. My old CJ5 with in-line 6 just keeps on climbing.
  19. The PPS-43C is tremendous fun to shoot!! Especially with one in each hand
  20. Sweet!!!!
  21. Just love the way the game announcers use the (I guess “politically correct”) term of Vandy players electing to “opt out” for the remainder of the season ..... OPT OUT? Heck no, they QUIT !
  22. Good deal Dave. Yes, I shoot a little silicone spray down mine. Happy Thanksgiving to you & family!,
  23. I have had 2 of the standard configurations......both were very, very (yep, I mean VERY) prone to feeding and ejecting problems. Definitely not the type reliability desired. Now, having said that, they are really a good-looking pistol.
  24. Dave, Check out DecoyPro gun socks. I found them to be of good quality and can easily accommodate an AR w/scope or an AR-type MKA shotgun w/carry handle without tugging or struggling. just Google and check’em out ....... usually could be had for around $10-$11 which included shipping
