  1. Not to sound neg but after its fixed I'd run a crap load through it. Just like the tire analogy once a tire is patched up you always have that uncertain feeling while driving on it.
  2. Well right after the holidays and family comes and goes I think I'm gonna try my safe room. Not going to do the stairs in this house. Will do something tacticool when I buil again. I will try probably a hidden set of shelves. Wish me luck. Can't believe I got my wife to agree!
  3. I'll be curious how it holds up. I almost bought on the other day myself. They even had some BSA red dots at mine. Let us know might have to pick one up to play around with on the AR.
  4. I found a couple different kits for around 30-60$. My safe has the material that velcro won't stick to. I'm thinking about just running two strips of velcro down the door an ordering the pouches.Or just pin a piece of material. Those pouches aren't that expensive. Sure would free up some room.
  5. A friend of my step father has a 2 lane gun range downstairs. walk through that into what looks like a bank. Big vault door into a saftey room about the size of most peoples living rooms. It has its own air system and phone setup. Then in the corner is a spiral staircase that goes up to their master suite with locakable hatch of coarse. He also has a lil area where his pool comes into the bedroom so they can exit and enter. Pretty wild. I would love the range thats for sure!
  6. One side of the steps are my wall in the garage. The interior wall is my living room. I have a pantry in the kitchen that is the back of the step area. But its full of shelves.I wish I had the room to build a false wall somewhere.I will definitly make sure when we build the next one that its in the design.
  7. I think I'm gonna try and make me a door hanger like that. Unless they are just real inexpensive to buy.
  8. Might need to run mine through the oven and see what happens. I know I spray out my garage alot due to my dogs. No moisture problems.
  9. When we elect a first lady then she can get paid. I don't remember her being on the ballot. Plus my wife said when they pay her for being a housewife they can pay her.
  10. Thats not a bad idea either. Its big enough below that I would like to put my gun safe it there and room that we could fit in a emergency. But a step that lifted up would be cool too. Who would think to check that.
  11. I finally got it to work in the for sale section. YEAH!!!!!
  12. Is it that obvious guns, porn, beer?
  13. So far I love it. Seems the only difference is the shroud. I need to go shot it again now that its on there. Just to make sure everything is good to go. I have a place to shoot at my in laws. I was in the Boro while mama x-mas shopped. So you know where I ended up indoors to shoot. Man I think their lane prices have gone up since the last time I shot.
  14. Love the pistol holders. Might have to retro my Liberty to free up some room. I have mine in the Garage sitting up off the floor as well about 2.5".I haven't had any moisture issues. I do keep a large bag of those dry crystal pellets. Most safe companies will sell you a bag. Or at least they used to. Just don't eat it!
  15. I wouldn't lift the whole staircase. It is inclosed on both sides. I have it done in my head the only thing is getting the section to stay up with some sorta shock cyl. Saw one on tv but really high tech. I'm gonna need high redneck J/K.
  16. Thanks finally got to the range couple days ago to run a few through it. Feels good, Kills me for what I paid at the range. Won't be going back there for a long while.
  17. I tried a search on this so sorry if an old topic or I didn't search right. I have been thinking of making a safe room in a staircase going up to my bonus room. Just wondering if anyone had built aplace like this. I wonder If I could do it in one day before mama could see the mess. I want a section of the stairs to lift up.I have enough room for my gun safe and a room for the family for an emergency.Since it is centrally located n my home.If I would have thought about it when the house wasn't finished yet , would have been easier.Anyway does this sound like a stupid idea or a waste of time?
  18. Finally got out and got it sighted in also mounted my Bushnell. I know I know its not an Eotech. I love it and the price was in my ballpark this time around. Thinking about getting the 6.8 upper for it.Waiting to see what mama got me at Hero Gear for X-mas.
  19. Yankeehill has one that looks like that for 77$ on their website.
  20. I know my wife has been to Hero Gear for something. Even a gift card would be great!
  21. Your not gonna leave it in the vehicle are you?
  22. Wish I could get mine out to shoot. I have instructed her on the use at the house for protection purposes. I just can;t get her out to shoot.I think she would eb=njoy it if she did too.
  23. Just curious if any info on mine. Thanks for your time and attention to the matter.
  24. Glad your O.K. I had a front wheel come off a cab over Mac front end loader truck once. Luckily I was in a parking lot. The guy riding with me liked to $#%# his pants. I was headed to the interstate glad I didn't.
