  1. How would anyone not usually going to the school know if there were students present. I think that is the issue. Regardless it is a dumb law like most of the others for gun laws. Guns are not the problem. Stupid and criminals are.
  2. Not so quick...depends on who he gets to back his suit. And wal-wart could go out of business this minute and it would not bother me for a second. Any decency they had died with Sam. As usual it is all downhill for them since the kids took over. I have vowed to not ever step foot in one again!
  3. And live near Miami. One of the reasons I tell folks we like it here just the way it is. Don't try to change it to how it was wherever you came from.
  4. Did anyone go and is it worth the effort and money? I am looking for Glock Upper parts amongst the usual stuff of course.
  5. Went to the one in Nashville on year it was here. Had a heartache that evening. Show was great. I would not recommend the heart attack.
  6. All I can say is great, one less competitor for the local gun shop. I sure will not miss them.
  7. My point, other than some sarcasm, was that some medical dogs are hard to tell what they are for. They may look like just someone wanting their pretty along while actually serving a true need. But 90 percent are most likely BS. As for behavior that is usually indeed the give away. And the hardest part of training for my dog. He is still young enough to want to play at any moment. Training takes a long time. Might be my fault that as a lot of time I leave him home if my family is with me as they know the signs to watch for. It is when it is just me that he is important. I need to get more strict on his training. The sugar part is the easiest. Behavior is the hard part. Especially when people try to feed or play with them. I agree a vest with the no petting sign. It is also going to have a pouch with glucose and instructions on what to do. A big work in progress. Now our Silky terror, yes I spelled that correct, is a great storm warning dog. Any thunder in the area and he wants s lap to quiver in. Shakes big time and whines. He was doing that most of the early morning today as the storms came through.
  8. So my dog that warns me of an impending blood sugar drop would upset most of you? I am what is known as a brittle diabetic. At times my blood sugar drops for no apparent reason. When I say drops I am talking down into the 30 range and it happens quickly. We do not go anywhere without glucose. If you see me and my dog starts whining and pawing my leg I need sugar, quick. He is in training but needed none the less. As I also have Parkinson's my wife and daughter got me a dog big enough to assist me in stabilizing as well. I am so looking forward to the day when he is fully trained. Now if I can train him to poop on fakers lap dogs I will be happy. And fetch beer of course.
  9. Problem is that the kids these days are not mature enough at 18 to know squat these days. They should not be voting until they pass a test. Most of us learned the basics in high school. These days the kids are not taught anything it seems that is harder than how to turn on their dumb phones.
  10. Really, you think that sarcasm pour semantics will stop the grabbers. If we had a dollar for every time I heard this bit of drivel we would not have a problem. We could pay all the politicians off. Call it what you will they do not give a damn. Try that argument when someone tries to take it, let me know how that works out. Sorry, pushed my buttons wrong this morning. I need more coffee.
  11. How about we concentrate on makjming sure 18 year olds are mature enough to handle. That is the problem these days. The kids just do not mature like they use to due to all of the influences like everyone is a winner in oiur schools. Maybe 21 is not a bad idea. Not that I agree but today's youth are not exactly showing they re mature enough to handle firearms without supervision. Or most anything else for that matter. However that is punishing the many for the few which is exactly what gun control people want. Wow, we made this crap now we have to live with it. We ignored the schools systems teaching this BS and now it is bioting us in the ass. We should have been screaming for mental health and no indoctrination in schools a long time ago. I fear it is now too late and we have lost! And soon goeth the country behind us! \
  12. I see Palmetto does now. Fatboy, Primary, Classic are all showing out of stock I noticed a bunch of the deals PSA had where they were including lowers are gone. Fortunately I had stocked up but alas they went down in the boat accident.
  13. Most places online areout of stock. Is there that big a panic already?
  14. Hence participatation trophies! One would think as a society we would learn. Well "We" waited too long to puish back against the ideas that were clearly not working! Now I am afraid it is getting to a tipping point. Again accelerating what is sure to turn out badly for this once great country.
  15. Normal? Define it? If they need a pill to feel better it can be argued they do indeed have a mental issue can it not? Maybe to a much lesser degree than others though. Ultimately we need a way to discover how bad the mental issue is and does it rise to the level where removing their rights to a gun are involved. I think we need to start looking at gun control from that aspect rather than another worthless law that will help nothing. Just my opinion but more laws have not helped to this point. Again, define insanity?
  16. I am no liberal and I think it should be dealt with better and more comprehensively. Perhaps stopping more of the mental health problems would stop some incidents. That is what we all want after all.
  17. Speculation is all there is at the moment. Wait for the results of the investigation. Then all curiosity will be satisfied.
  18. No more partial fights. If I can be trusted some places I can be trusted anywhere.
  19. Bull hockey! We need to concentrate on removing any restrictions period. If we can be trusted and permitted to carry some places why not everywhere? We need to stop playing their game and start demanding our rights. If you ask for just one thing you are agreeing they have the ability to restrict your rights. Stop doing that
  20. Why should there be a restriction on carry anywhere? Does anyone really think a criminal will stop because it is illegal to carry somewhere? How stupid or our legislatures? Just because some folks are afraid of a piece of inanimate metal is not a good reason to restrict anyone's rights. Stop with the exceptions, fight for all of our rights. Then mass shootings anywhere would be harder. At least theoretically.
  21. And that was a contributing factor to his mental state I would think. The have's showing off to the have not's is what a couple of the students mentioned. Kds can be cruel and mean and are geting all kinds of mixed signals from social media. Take the damn phones away for a bit and see if society improves.
  22. Already people want to fail instead of presenting solutions. As for that last line, Is it not now the same? However I would add that it is also wasteful, bloated, and abused/cheated. To a level that means it is better to scrap the program and do something new. The real problem lies in Washington to begin with. Stop feeding the bears as it makes them dependent on the handouts! Not just in this program but all of what the idiots that have been elected are doing every day! I should not refer to them as idiots though as they must be fairly smart to keep hosing the people and getting reelected all of the time to continue it.
  23. So get in front of it. Let's find leaders that will use this properly for a change! Notice I did not say "to our advantage". Time to get leaders that want what is best for the country not what they think but rather what we the people think. Gun control is not the answer, and neither is doing away with all the gun laws. Neither extreme side of the argument is right on the issue. Finding the root cause and interupting the chain of events that lead to these mindless and horrific events is paramount to fixing the "Problem". So find that root cause and treat it. That is most likely a combination of things. Mental health chief amonst them.
  24. Think of our politicians. They spend a lot of time and money talking but no real time doing. They are part of the problem not the solution. Once that is understood it is easier to Garner there is no answer forthcoming from "them".
