Being in the IT world data is King. There is very little that is not collected when possible. Data can be moved for all kinds of statistics and trending studies. It is amazing what we can get from vehicles and almost any system used for transactional work can be a treasure trove of data for those that have access.

I never found the FM process to be good enough to justify not just buying new. I have not considered their steel stuff at all so no idea how it prices. As for regular 9mm fmj it was about the same as new Remington or Winchester white if I shopped around. To each their own I guess and I do reload most of mine anyway. And like every other reloaded I have had a bad one occasionally. It is not as unusual as most would think. Fix it and move on. Now if I get a lot of bad ones from one place then I just moved on to another manufacturer.

Remember though that just because you want something in a gun does not mean others do. The manufacturers do market research and apparently they believe their offerings are what most want. That is why the custom world exists. But that is an expensive road. I summarize though as I have short arms and finding long guns to fit is difficult at best. Same with cars or trucks. Most people can operate controls that I have to reach for. Try finding shirts that for without the sleeves being 3 or 4 inches too long. I feel your pain sir.

Here is a novel thought. Don't hold gun rally. hold a school safety rally! Where is said the the two are synonomous? It is my opinion that school safety is far more than the gun piece. It is rather about bullying, mental health, social media, virtue signalling, brainwashing, overreaching, and a few other items. Creating yet one more law that a criminal just walks right around is not an answer. So take the que from the anti's, ask for what they are asking for, Safety in schools! Just do it without the anti gun slant. Point out the root causes, get a good solution and make the liberal left explain why they do not want to get on board with a real solution rather they want to be part of the ongoing problem. Point out they are neing led with someone else's agenda! Or just keep doing what you are doing and stick your damn head in the sand. That is Mike for Fremont st. Been there many times over the years. Some of the stuff I have seen there was hilarious. Some was outright porn in my opinion. Some was actually interesting. Which is why the bgc system should not all for serial numbers. Does it matter what the serial number or type of gun the bgc is being ran for? Of course not, so why is it there? Kind of like why we have restrictions on where we can carry. If I am trusted to carry with a permit anywhere why is it restricted anywhere? And the sad part is this could be fixed fairly easily. It is sad that any citizen of this v country will ever vote for any current politician again. They should all be charged as accomplices in my opinion.

I am an IT geek and work on communication systems. It would be very simple and easy on the front end user interface. The hard part is the government systems that do not talk to each other. And remeber, any Database is only as good as the data it has input. Part of the problems is the lack of data in these databases. If they got that right it would make a huge difference.

Kids can be covered until age 26 now And yes we would have to have a BIG discussion around the whole SSI thing. It needs to be fixed just like everything else government touchs. I am in no way saying it would be easy just a out of the box thinking thing!

This can be fixed very easily by letting any citizen run the check for every sale. No records other than a receipt saying it was done, no serial numbers, models, makes, no other information. Something along those lines that is not making it harder to do than it is now. Now we get those on both sides of the issue going to argue it is either too invasive or not invasive enough. However, if we do not fix the system first it will not make a bit of difference.

Realize also these "Kids" have no idea how it really works and are just spouting back the vitirol they are getting from the Anti Gun leaders. So they get told theree are gun show loopholes and no need for BGC everytime and all of the sudden the sky is falling. Even if there were BGCs for each purchase with the system not working it still would make no difference. They cannot or will not see the logic so it is not going to do any good to address the issue with them. Time for us to start a campaign of what it really is and get our message out there.
