  1. I was picked for early trial. Nothing I could not find local cheaper even with no tax. Not impressed. Pretty bummed about it too. Their ammo prices were nuts.

Very good. It is very much worth what I am asking. Google it and you will see. I am asking 2% less than the highest retail price I could find anywhere.
  4. Make sure any results from the nics system disappear immediately. No serial numbers kept at all. You get a yes or no and a confirmation number. That's it. They do not get a serial number to keep as a backdoor registry. In fact make it part of the law that any attempt to use it for any restrictions will cause an instant repercussion by all current serving elected officials are immediately recalled. Or something like that. Lol
  5. So how about this, If you own guns in your home/car and they are stolen and used in a crime then there are two distinct possibilities. If the gun was stolen and there were no security precautions in place then the homeowner is liable for any civil suit brought by victims. If the gun was secured then there is immunity to any civil action. The definition of security precaution would be the hard part of course. Does that mean a safe (Sand if so is therre a list of acceptable safes) or is a gun lock enough? Personally I would like to see safes wherever there are guns. Too many stupid people if nothing else but that is just my opnion. I know a lot of folks would not like it. I am unsure what I think but I have 3 safes in my house and the only guns out are our carry weapons. So if i leave my residence my guns are secure. After all a cheap safe is not all that much. Yeah I know cheap safes will not hold up to a determined thief. It will however slow them down and keep the children out. Even better, how about we end all plea deals and the rotsting door at the prison. Commit a crime with a gun and you go to prison for 30 years, no pleas, no options. Shoot the gun and it is 50 years, injure or kill someone is immediate life. No pleas, no BS deals, just get rid of the criminals. There is no deterent for anyone these days. Look at all the charges that the recent shooter in Texas faced. They let him off most. And then they screwed up the reporting so 26 innocent people died. Lots of things need to happen. Punishing the law abiding due to the criminal's actions is not one of them. Now, good luck getting anything done until we get rid of every career politician in Washington and at the state and local level.
  6. I have been going on the mornings and evenings when I can. We have not yet tried tanning a hide. We always swapped them for a pair of gloves at the butcher shop where I get the pig done. We are going to try one this year though. I have a rack built for just that reason. Might do the one from this morning if I get enough time.
  7. Her entire front end is trashed. This was a big deer. I wish I would have weighed him. Never thought about it. Needed to get him dressed and hung so I could get to work. Now I need some pork and I can make Sausage!
  8. Well what a way to start a season. Big 5 point this morning. Got it with a Toy 55. More precise one of the neighbors did. Car is trashed but she is ok Either way he is going in my freezer.
  9. What item number was it and what are they charging. They did this earlier around Father's day this year also.

If you will accept a money order I will be happy to give you advice on selling on the internet. I will have my agent come by and give you instructions. The money order is for more than I will require so please keep your piece and just give my agent the rest after you cash it. By the way do you have pics?
  11. Yes. Not real close but there are a few folks within ten miles of the land I bought that I would say qualify. They might disagree though. We are talking serious banjo music and uncle Daddy types.
  12. If you are willing to build there are a lot of spots available. I did the very thing recently. Only 38 acres but there is more available if I want it. Very hilly though. Also near nowhere big. An hour drive to Chattanooga. Since I work from home in the IT industry it does not matter to me. I like being out away from everyone. I will help anyone that needs it but really prefer to keep to myself. I would stay as far away from Memphis as possible due to the crime rates. Most big cities are that way now. Nashville is getting worse everyday. More info might help, what line of work for you and your wife? Kids in future (Schools)? Willing to build? Etc.
  13. Please do not say that. We already see too many laws trying to legislate common sense and stupidity. Don't give them any ideas. Now, I have a hard time believing that the insurance company does not require it. I would just out of common Sense. I would not want any gun from my store being used in a crime. I can see a victim of a crime using one of the stolen guns suing over it. In this day and age you would lose as a shop that did not take every measure to keep your inventory out of the wrong hands. All of that aside it is the ethical thing in my opinion. But YMMV.
  14. If he shot himself with an AR and drove away I would be surprised. Not unthinkable but unlikely.
  15. I would tend to think after enough death even the most liberal minded would see it might be time to lock up the loonies as it were. Of course common sense is not all that common so there will always be some that blame everythiing except the real issue. We can only hope the numbers of those are dwindling after the reality of the DNCs escapades during the last election.
  16. It is refreshing to hear this on most of the networks. They usually would have glossed over it. Perhaps a sign they are starting to hear American's displeasure? OK, I can dream can't I.
  17. Great pictures! I would thought a better camera system would have been in place. They are not that much more these days. Oh well, kind of closing the cell door after the criminal is out now.
  18. Yeah great. Now how about we work on a solution. First step is to identify the root cause. Just labeling it mental health is not going to help either. Nice to see someone blame a person instead of the tool but we really do need a solution.
  19. I think there is no one cause for this type of barbaric behavior. Mental health or lack there of, social media, participation trophies, everyone is equal, and I am sure there are a lot more contributing factors. So how to stop it without punishing the law abiding? First step is to pull the plug on social media. It is really detrimental to youth who have a hard time telling the difference from reality to reality TV. Get kids off the phones and TV. They really do not need to know what the Kardashians or anyone else is doing. Get our schools back. Fire the ineffective teachers or those that are programming the kids. Now get all of the talking heads to stop all the opinion spotting and giving these idiots their fifteen minutes. They all say we do not want to glorify these events when in actuality that is exactly what they are doing. I do not have the answers but I do know just talking about it is not going to get any change. We are close to a point of no recovery in this once great country.
  20. I already see talking heads spouting off about motive. Once again as perp is dead motive can only be guessed at. Sad but true aspect of most of these. They all have one thing in common though. Mental health issues!
  21. Already hearing some tinfoil hatter's claiming this was a distraction so people would forget the DNC scandal. Really? I think the tinfoil is a little too tight on some people's heads.
  22. And along come the politicians to politicize a crisis in 3...2...1... both sides Wishes and prayers for thos effectedf by yet another act of insanity.
  23. This ^^^^ I have been fortunate enough to bag some very big deer in my hunting days. Both bucks and does. The largest was a 247 LB, 11 pointer whose rack is hanging outside my office door. (Wish I had mounted the entire head). I never hunted for trophies so meat on the table is my first requirement. Of course management of the herd has to play a part as well. I love venison so for me it is the meat. I butcher it, process it, grind it (The right parts of course), mix it with Pork, stuff it, smoke it, wrap and vacumn bag it, and freeze it all myself. That is ppart of the fun I have had teaching the entire family. I guarantee that if the world falls apart my family will not starve for wont of knowing how to kill and process their own food! Besides, Vensison pepperoni sticks are right up there with Baacon. Ok, almost!
