  1. It will be Gen 7 and allow you to use it as your phone as well. Talk about shooting your mouth off.
  2. Glock has not had any innovation in a long long time. Most manufacturers have not. I think we are going to see a leap in a few years once engineers get a little further on incorporating technology into firearms. It is going to open all kinds of new issues. Interesting times.
  3. Ted's in Columbia. Been there done that several times. One charge per 4473 plus the call in. Last one was a year ago so call first.
  4. Had one years ago. Was a of fun on my 1911.
  5. As a quick throw in the truck gun it might work good. I like the multi mag capability.
  6. I agree. Just do not want to break or ruin a blade. If i mess up a 50 buck Izula I won't cry. If I mess up a pice of art I will. And I think the Izula will fit the bill without coating much. Gives me more to spend on a beautiful knife.
  7. It would be shameful to use either of those artists blades for my everyday stuff. Lol I love their blades. True beauty just a little much for my everyday use. I am going to be working with one of them though on a different project. Stand by for the unveiling hopefully soon!
  8. My wife has a 4 and a 6 and my sons have the Izula and the 5 I use a Kabar 9. I agree on the sheath being right but after some use it did get better. I am going to use one of their Izulas for a bit and try it. I like the feel of them and they seem easier for me to handle at times. Only concern is weight. They are so light it does not Dampen the tremors as much. Something heavier seems to lessen the impact of the shaking a little. So I may make a set of scales for it that has a heavy insert to help. Lot to ponder. I do want to get it done before the shakes get worse so I guess I will start on the scales.
  9. The side opens are fine for open but closing can be an issue. I am thinking the fix blade is the best way to go now. I wanted something to drop in my pocket but the Izula is just about right for belt carry yet could still drop in a pocket. I find myself using my knife a lot to help with things that are just too hard to do. Fine work is tough but having a blade to help is a big plus. Kind of hard to explain but I can use two handf to steady it and it works.
  10. I like my Benchmade. Have had a couple for years. I want to stay away from the junk as I hate cheap stuff. I was considering an esse izulu as both my sons have them and I like them. Might be a good answer. Still struggling with something I can rely on and use one handed. Handling very sharp knives while shaking is not a great idea. It is not just about opening. Closing can be just as tough as opening of not worse sometimes.
  11. Ok, I am finding it difficult to open knives these days but need to use one fairly frequently. My Parkinson's makes it hard if not risky to open traditional knives. Assisted open is a little better but not great. I am thinking of going with an end open auto open and close style. Most of these look like toys and junk. Don't want to break the bank but looking for suggestions. Thoughts?
  12. We drove through here this morning on the way to Mom's house. Beautiful with all of the ice and icicles. Reminded again how Mother Earth is an amazing being.
  13. Merry Christmas all! My warmest wishes that everyone had a great Christmas and will enjoy a safe and happy New year. I was blessed with a good year in that the family made it with no major issue. May the good Lord bless all here the same in the next year.
  14. I got a happy wife, kids, and grandkids. That means more to me than anything I could have gotten. There is no better feeling than making your family happy. Ok, Shania Twain delivering a new Barrett 50 in skimpy lingerie Christmas morning would have been ok. Seeing the look on her and my wife's face when I shouted and jumped like a child, grabbed the Barrett, and closed the door on Shania would have been worth it.
  15. This. 5 miles away from my house and we still go there often. Love them. Always something new to see.
  16. If that is a rabbit it qualifies. Looks more like a Prairie Rat. LOL
  17. Mannheim Steamroller, Christmas live, TSO, RiverDance, ACDC, Van Halen In a weird mood this afternoon.
  18. I served in the military and am retired. I still deal with the Government daily. I would not want to rely on "I am guessing". I would want proof. I do not trust them to get anything correct. As the old saying goes, "Trust, but verify". In my case it would be "Do NOT trust And Damn sure verify!" Sorry, old and jaded I guess.

    Moving Safe

Yep stairs makes it a no no for me. I have moved a lot of safes but not up or down more than a doorway threshold. Sorry, gotta go with the guys that say hire it done. Another thought is to sell it to the new occupant and just buy a new one.
