  1. I am thinking for the monoey i am goin gto pick one up to play with. I like what I am hearing and really liked the way it fit me when I played with one recently. If it shoots as good then I see it as a great thing.
  2. Yep, dreaming. They have no interest in fixing it. That takes the money away! From them and the big Pharma companies.
  3. It is clearing it up as it is the only one legalized by some states. None of the other drugs have been legalized for recreational use. Feds just pointing out as it is a recent change and taking away the oh I did not know defense.
  4. Go with a side charger and you don't need one. I have to admit I built one for my wife but I really like it as well
  5. My bad, misunderstood you. Still a moot point though as it is the law. Follow it or take your chances.
  6. Yes actually Question 11e asks: Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana, or any depressant, stimulant, or narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance? it then add the warning about medical or recreational marijuana still being illegal. Blah blah blah.
  7. Everybody got their bread and milk?
  8. Pack and foget does you no good! Use it or lose it is a good way to look at it. Try to practice the skills you learn and rotate stock as well. Rotating is good but building even more is better. I must admit that I am way behind where I want to be due to building the house and BOL. Very little gardening I can do here but once we are on the mountain full timw my wife and I have the spot picked out, ready to go with a water system and will be planting like mad. Wife has been doing container gardening until we get moved up and has done great. Almost enough to get us through the year for the basics. I have been using the buckets from Firehouse Subs as they have a great sealing lid and I am a cheap SOB. At $2 each they are cheap enough for a lot of supplies. Rice, Beans, flour, salt, etc... Seal a bag, fit it into the bucket, fill it then vacumn seal it. Seal the bucket and it keeps a long long time. We used 3x5 index cards with holders hot glued to the buckets to label contents. Bottom line is use the skills or lose the skills! Practice now as later is too late.

    Another sig 1911

Nice! I love me a sig! I have several and am always on the lookout for more.
  10. The problem is this is yet another area of selective law enforcement. Enforce the laws as they are, period. Choosing which laws we should enforce is stupid! Look at immigration! If people do not want a law (And yes I think this one needs to go!) then work to get it changed but just not enforcing it is dumb. It will lead to more and more selective enforcement. No matter your thoughts on marijuana it is the same as any other law that is on the books. Right now it is illegal. follow that law. Hell, by that way of thinking we should all be able to run out and get suppressors tomorrow as that law is dumb and should not be enforced. Let me know how that works for you. As always that is just my opinion and worth less than two cents.
  11. Take caution though as visits to SMKW are addicting. We wind up over there at least once a month. Of course there are worse things you could do.
  12. As usual I think the question of why is almost always answered by following the money! With power comes money, therefore the politicians want to stay in "Power" to make more money. Now to beak that cycle is the mission of the day. It is a tough mission indeed as those with anything rarely are willing to give it up. Politicians need to learn that they are not in "Power" anymore. They need to return to the position of representative. One best way to accomplish that is term limits. If they will not institute them then the voters have to by kicking them out after one term. It is not rocket science but we will continue to see politicians voting for their best interests as long as people keep pulling the levers stupidly. Between crooked elected officials and political correctness we are headed downhill quickly. It is not considered PC to point out the bad areas of towns and the cause for them. It is not racist but try pointing out the stats and you will quickly find yourself labeled as a racist. I was recently in Chatanooga on the south side and it is going downhill very fast. Looked a lot like some of Detroit. Very sad. I recently did a swap deal with a Detective on the CPD. He mentioned that no one he knows goes into Chatanooga after dark any more and rarely during the day now. He said it is due to the section eight housing having ruined so many nce neighborhoods. Now that is all hearsay but from what we saw I would think it is on point. Stats can show a lot of things but the trick is to make them show what you want. So if you think about it what better way to get more money than to show you need it to get the neighborhood back. Problem is the money gets sidetracked which is not really a problem as they just ask for more. Pretty soon it happens so often no one questions that. So as I forgot to add that this is the same behavior that is used in our battle for 2nd Ammendment rights. Complain about how we need more taken away, then when noone says anything take more. It is a vicious self fulfilling ideology. So the same thoughts and use of stats are used against us in the battle over our rights. So those that ignore the real reasons for the crime are the same that try to use those stats to remove our rights. It is about time we took that into account and started using stts to our advantage. Of course that always leads to the question "how"?
  13. It was a joke. Think naughty bad not evil bad.
  14. Just think of all the people trying to figure out what to do. I bet it did wake up a lot of folks and some will start making better plans now. Wonder how many did something bad thinking it was all about to end? HeHe
  15. It is actually 15 miles south of Spencer. Looks like it will be nice when finished. Dropped by there last week. Muddy and wet but it is getting there. We will join when they get it ready.
  16. Condolences to his family. Again guys, make sure you get check ups! I hate seeing notifications like this as do we all!
  17. I know better than to even ask the wife.
  18. I hate fees so I am with Fidelity. Been there for a long time. I am playing it pretty conservative at the moment but even with that I am getting real nice returns. Having said that I am feeling my diversity is good in case something drops out.
  19. Bi have shoot a bunch of it in 9mm and 223. No issues. Little dirtier brass but nothing a few more minutes in the tumbler does not fix. Seems as good as any of the Winchester or Federal I use. Accuracy is good enough for plinking. I would not think long range would be a great choice but I use higher end or reloads for that anyway as always just my opinion and YMMV
