  1. Why is her continuing as mayor even a question. I could care less if she resigns. There are other methods of removing a Mayor. D or R or I or whatever this is the first step to getting our country back. We can no longer allow this. If they admit to it and beg forgiveness that is great. Whatever diety they worship can grant forgiveness but they are done serving. Now, get out! I am passionate about getting our country back and am tired of seeing elected officials do things that are unethical and immoral and get away with it. Most use to lay on the "Rehab" solution. Vacation for 60 to 90 days hope people forget and move on. No longer is that acceptable. If the people of Nashville do not scream for her head by sundown they have given up and deserve the weight of the wool the sheep wear.
  2. Why should we have to pay for another dang investigation? She admitted to b affair with a subordinate. She needs to go now. It is not about party or position it is morals and ethics. She has proven she has neither by breaking her vows. No need to spend another dime on proving she did anything after she admitted the affair. Proving anything else will not recover the money just waste more.
  3. The wrong cop on the wrong day can run your day any time. Best the radio but take the ride is an old saying that comes to mind. I think it comes down to the situation. Your behavior is probably a bigger factor than what you have in your vehicle for a firearm.
  4. I have seen one more around but I cannot remember where. I travel quite a bit. If I remember ok will let you know.
  5. Got by there finally. It is off a Tacoma so it will not fit your Dodge.
  6. The media never get it right. Makes it hard to think of any event in an after action report manner. We need to look at these events and learn but hard to do that with the media as our major resource.
  7. Right does not mean correct. Not always. As a wolf I will protect my pack. With a great and curious passion D only a Marine can bring. However I realize that means I must be a smart wild as well and do what I must do I will be there to keep protecting my own. Had this person been shot and killed during the incident what good would he have brought his family? In my mind it is the act of someone that wanted to play cop instead of Wolf. But again, there is usually more to the story. I understand the desire to bring the bad side down as it were and do agree that at some point it may come to pass that the need for such actions may arise. We are not quite there yet in my opinion and I am hopeful we will not be. In the end do what you must to protect yourself and your own. Leave the policing to the cops. At least for something like this. Now had it been a violent act against someone it would be different if course.
  8. Why focus on that part. His actions leading to that are what needs training on. That is the cause of the entire event. Had he not approached them it would not have been necessary. There are arguments that can be made on both sides and in many years past he would have maybe been ok. These days though it is a bad idea. Get the license plate and give it to the manager but do not get too involved Once he was faced with the perp pointing a gun he had cause to act but not before. He is no cop unless there is as I stated more to the story.
  9. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. Lot of stupid there to go around. I am hoping there is more to the story but thinking not. At minimum the hcp guy should have to go through a lot of retraining before he regains his permit in my opinion.
  10. I have a heard a few discussing this. They do not know how to get them off as there is no screw to use. I think a lot of them do not understand Taper Pins. Sad but it is the way of life as with most things. There is always someone that will bubba their way through it.
  11. It would seem that parents could take some lessons from all this. Then again there are a lot of things today's parents need to learn these days. Tough for them as this is the first big bunch that also did not see their parents much. So now we have multigenerational kids that cannot hope and have no outlets other than the internet which is all the real life they know. As for Ritalin I will not even get started on that topic. Labeling people seems to also be a big issue. ADD, ADHD, inferior complex, Superior complex, all excuses in most cases. Some are real issues and most of those could be handled much better and are often misdiagnosed and treated with the latest wonder drug. Just look at TV where every other as is for a new drug with ads in between from lawyers saying you can get rich by joining the lawsuit over the last great thing. I need to finish my place fast and start my hermit lifestyle. I am allergic to stupid so I need to isolate myself
  12. I agree. Prices seemed a little high on the ammo and a few other things but decent on others. They were working on it pretty hard when we dropped by.
  13. Dogs are very perceptive. Perhaps she knew what was going on and was warning you. I know mine acts funny when my sugar levels drop. No matter what looks like a friend indeed. I think I like dogs better than most humans!
  14. Reason why he did it or the event pushing him over the edge does not matter now. Other than a teachable moment to others of course. What matters now is how we as society will deem to punish him. That will speak as loudly as the event itself in my opinion. My thoughts are a fast outcome that is final will be more of a deterrent than 4 or 5 years of trials and appeals that lead to a life in prison sentence.
  15. Doug, take the time to heal! Work hard but be mindful of your body! My Aunt went in for some back surgery last week and they discovered an abnormal EKG, one Cath later she wound up last Thursday having a triple By-Pass. Went home yesterday. She is in a lot of discomfort and still needs the back surgery but said she is actually feeling better than before already. Time will get you there!
  16. There is always one! I tend to agree even though I am pretty agnostic I believe it is a personal decision and prayer in school and Pledge of Allegiance was a good thing. I still think a paddle on the arse is a good thing though. As a society we have to stop coddling the kids and giving everyone's a winner participation trophies. However none of that will make these families effected the other day feel any better!
  17. That weird dimension is true on the Tacomas as well. Then of course they changed it from model year 15 to model year 17. When we traded they had changed it and the topper would not fit. The back door was too long and hit the tailgate. So while trying all kinds of ideas to make it work my kid asked me "Why not just cut 1/2 inch off the bottom". So took the door off and used by dewalt circular saw. Cut off 1/2", put a new seal on bottom and some molding over the cut. Worked awesome. I am headed up to Crossville tomorrow so I will take a look at the one there. What year and model is your truck? Never mind I saw it.
  18. Where I wuz skooled we called that a unknown event. Scientificists suddieed tem. Or perhaps it was just a Bud light!
  19. Usually the bully is a person capable of bullying in the first place and not someone that is worried about the person they are bullying standing up to them. Now we all had plenty of disagreements that occasionally led to a scuffle. That is not standing up to a bully. Thwat was just life back then. usually a day or two or even an hour or two later it was forgotten and people moved on. The internet and social sites have ended those days forever! It comes down to one thing, parenting! It needs to happen and is not. From both sides.
  20. Again it comes down to rotten parenting. As usual. No surprise there for anyone unless they have there head buried in the sand up to their rectum! Fighting it out behind the school is no longer an option. Even if the bullied kid would it would usually wind up as the bully being the vicotr. They are the bigger kid in most cases. I do not have the solution but I am betting better parenting would be a darn good start.
  21. There is one just like my ARE I have on my Tacoma on the way from Pikeville to Crossville. I will grab the number next time I am going that way and let you know if it fits. I think I saw a Dodge in the driveway so it may.

  23. You are correct in that being bullied is no excuse. There is no excuse ever! And @Erik88 you are correct in that the parents of all involved should share the blame. Time to make parents accountable for their spawn is long past. Too many parents have abdicated their responsibilities to the tv, games, and internet. Dang parents need to get back into their kids lives! Teach them right from wrong because we know the Liberal arse school systems are not going to do it and it is not their job in the first place!
  24. Sorry, I did not mean to imply otherwise. I see my comment might look wrong. My apologies if that came out wrong.
  25. Nothing excuses this behavior! It is a failure of all involved that someone gets that close to the edge and no one steps up to assist. What a society we have become!
