  1. You have no idea how hard I cried into my studded pre-ripped jeans that I paid $300 dollars for at Buckle. Although, the waistband makes it super comfy for my hi point with a tactical light and compensator.
  2. Listen, I don't think I can handle criticism from the Kimber folks. I might cry.
  3. Jesus fucking Christ, can a moderator delete this thread? I don't know how many times I have to say that this entire thread is meant for humor. I already told all of you I dress like Taylor Swift. Remind me to never make a humorous thread again.
  4. This is a totally non serious thread including all the comments. Perhaps take them for what they are - humor. No one is trying to knock anyone for what they choose to defend themselves with. God bless you for serving our country and for making it long enough to be an ol' geezer! ;)
  5. So, what's your point? Do you want him to feel bad about saying anyone that owns a hi point should be kicked in the balls because you're a senior citizen and a veteran? I'm sure he was only kidding.
  6. I'm a member of Nashville Armory and I love it. Decent gun prices, knowledgeable staff, good ammo prices compared to other local places. Also, it's heavily supervised. If there was a problem with a guest it would be taken care of very quickly. Free coffee and a place to chill is a plus if I'm waiting for my lane appointment. Also, it's 5 minutes from me.
  7. Most of the people I work with are good folks and would own up to it. I appreciate y'all's replies but it's not as easy as just hopping on the road and playing with Christian bands and gospel groups. Also, I speak from personal experience when I say that a ton of those popular Christian artists and their band members indulge in more than just booze. It's an occupational hazard in the music business, and if I skipped out on every high paying gig because someone might have weed on them I would have zero work. It's an incredibly accepted vice in the music industry.
  8. It's not that simple. I can't travel 500 miles in my own ride for a gig. Would I be better off just leaving my gun at home?
  9. This might not be a common issue for many in their jobs, and I am most certainly not opposed to marijuana.. But..... When traveling in buses, vans, and cars with musicians frequently for out of town gigs there's almost at least one person carrying marijuana on them. It's almost unavoidable. If I am carrying concealed legally during travel for work and we are pulled over, what are the potential issues that could arise if weed is found on somebody in the vehicle? Would it be bad news bears for the whole vehicle or just for the person it's on? Also, as a passenger do I have to/need to inform the officer that I'm armed? I assume I would be at risk of losing my carry permit and being charged, but do I have to be if I'm just employed by the artist and have no other affiliation with the people?
  10. Do I need to start adding a disclaimer that humor is the intended purpose of these posts, or am I just not very good at it? If you think I was sincerely ruffled by the guy's comment then you must think I'm pretty sensitive. Also, I didn't mean to make anyone's Johnson feel small. What say you we compare calibers and Johnson size at the next TGO get together that I will at this point in time probably not be welcome to?
  11. The title contains the question I heard while pumping gas on my way to North Carolina today. Man next to me noticed my full sized Beretta, then laughed as I told him it was a 9mm. Then asked me if I was into "dat Springfield Ahr-moo-ree ex-deeee-esss" It is not the first time I've heard this. People seem to think that large calibers always mean large guns. I wanted to tell him that I don't need a 45 to make my dick feel big, but my girlfriend was standing near me and she's been trying to make me less mean to people I don't know. So, I just told him to enjoy the grip zone and I moved on.
  12. Just kidding. But, really. Ruger Redhawk 44 mag with 7 1/2 inch barrel. Happy Birthday to me. Thanks to Bellshire Hardware for their friendly service and great conversation.
  13. I IWB carry my Beretta 92 everyday and pocket carry an LCP for a bug. Don't be a ninny.
  14. Sporadic issues, but it's working right now.
  15. I shoot perfecta all the time in my 92. Runs really clean. The aluminum stuff is a little dirtier, but that's why we clean our friends that go boom. :) I buy up all the aluminum 9 I can find when I see it. I love that stuff.
  16. I laughed really hard at your last line. This the second one I've had stolen. The other was during a house break in years ago. One of these days a criminal is gonna come face to face with me and I'm going to whip his ass! Haha
  17. I've only shot the Federal Aluminum which is similarly priced and only found at Wal Mart as far as I've seen. I had zero problems with the Federal and I'm sure it's similar.
  18. I bet it's Carol. Apparently Daryl cries a lot in the mid-season finale.
  19. I enjoyed it, but I hate cliffhangers.
  20. My area is actually pretty safe. Even the police officer said that he rarely gets calls for the area.
