Yes, a cop can and will make things up. I've been pulled over for "swerving"(had zero drinks), been told I "look high"(not high), that the cop can "smell weed"(not possible unless the cop had been smoking), as well as other things. Some of these cops will say absolutely anything, and it only hurts their reputations among law abiding citizens. That being said, I've had some great run ins with cops where they were very courteous and helpful. AND HONEST. :)

It's not a desire to work with drug users, it's simply mandatory in this profession. It's impossible to know without asking every single person I work with, which I have no desire to do. It's also lame to be that guy when I support changes in law. ...and you're right, it's amazing the rift in the gun community with regard to pot. Some people definitely still have that leftover reefer madness mentality.

1) Have you ever smoked marijuana? It doesn't make you want to murder anyone. It is impossible to fathom a marijuana influenced murder. That is a laughable concept. The only thing I've ever murdered was a pizza while high on marijuana. 2) I do not actively smoke marijuana. So, you can ride with me all you want. I am a fan of pursuing natural highs through nature.

I'm pretty conservative as far as things go. It doesn't make me a crazy left winger to believe in the decriminalization of a plant that is safer than booze. Booze is doing a fine job of murdering teens. I'd rather see my child experimenting with a joint and a box of twinkies than a fifth of Jack behind the wheel of a car.

Heroin has been popping in the music community again because it's been so cheap. This town has always been on coke, but it sure is bizarre to hear about people using heroin. It seems like something you'd see on "Behind the Music" not something a friend is doing,

I come from a family of law enforcement, so yes. Edit: To clarify, those cops were hillbilly dumbasses. But, so was the girl driving. I don't feel bad about saying this nor do I think this about all cops. I simply think that MOST people have gotten hit with the stupid stick at birth. :lol:

It's amazing now easy it is to travel from country to country in Europe without being checked too thoroughly. I'm there are cells all over that part of the world armed and waiting for the go ahead for stuff like this. I'm sure they will target gun free cities if and when they attack here. I often look around at the businesses and restaurants I frequent and wonder what kind of response armed citizens would have to attacks like that.

I don't trust the police anymore than I trust any other stranger, which is not very much. Just because they are police officers it doesn't mean that they are infallible human beings. It doesn't take a genius to pass those tests nor does it take a person with an ironclad moral background. Just because they're cops doesn't make them experts on law either... Especially new or changed laws.

I absolutely 100 percent never consent to a search. It's a waste of time, and it makes cops look like assholes when they try and strong arm a citizen into an illegal search. Had a couple of dumb hillbilly cops ask to search a vehicle when I was on the road once. The cops claimed the girl driving was following another vehicle too closely and then they pulled her over. When they pulled her over they asked to search and before I could speak up she said, "Sure!" Needless to say I lit into her about letting stupid cops ask to do illegal searches. A moving violation is not a legal reason to search.

Y'all support your local dog shops and buy food from small dog food companies and you don't gottta worry about strange food from China. :)

Inbreeding is a massive problem in all breeds. That's why we should spay/neuter, adopt from shelters, and give dogs that otherwise wouldn't have love a place they can call their forever home. Dogs biggest source of problems are human beings. Humanity playing God and altering the natural progression of dog breeds causes so many problems. I wish breeders and puppy mills would go out of business, but there are just too many people that walk into awful pet stores and fall in love with animals completely unaware of the conditions they are born into. We've all ignorantly supported these businesses before. My family is guilty of it, and the dogs I had growing up had health problems due to breeding practices. As for pure breeds, there are countless rescues dedicated to specific breeds. This is something I'm really passionate about, and I get tired of people using dogs and other animals for selfish reasons. As smart and refined as humans are, we are also selfish, arrogant, and disgusting in some of our practices.
