The people in the wrong here are not those making fun of the belief system, but the two dead suspects. I had an atheist friend come up to me 8 months ago and noticed I was wearing a crucifix. He remarked, "There's a dead Jew on your neck!" I laughed because I dig politically incorrect humor ESPECIALLY about stuff I care about, but also if I had decked him I would've been facing an assault charge and would've deserved it. There should be zero consequences for speaking your mind. Even the Westboro loonies should be allowed to spew hate. Satanists too.

In this country we should be free to say whatever we want to say. If someone wants to have a contest drawing Mohammed, then so be it! I celebrate their ability to do such a thing, and would do so even if it meant a contest involving Jesus, Buddha, etc..

Nickelback.. One of the most hated and highly successful rock bands of this generation. I liked some of their songs.. Other stuff is just bleh.

People that rely only on Jesus in a hostile situation have a pretty good chance of fulfilling their desire to meet him. I tend to find working in "mysterious ways" slightly less than reliable compared to eliminating the threat yourself.

There's gotta be more to this story. In this day and age why would police officers do anything to risk another Ferguson incident? Now stories are saying Freddie Grey may have tried to hurt himself in the police van. Either way, his death was not tragic and I'm getting real tired of seeing cops and whites being trashed. What shitty, uncomfortable times we are living in.

From what I recall, the guys at Remington said they were just gonna rebrand the Para guns under the Remington name or something to that effect. I can't remember due to my ADD at the NRA show. The feeling I got from them was that they weren't getting rid of anything, just rebranding it.

Call of Duty(and similar) did for guns what Guitar Hero did for kids playing guitar. It sparked an interest in youngins who wouldn't normally have been exposed to such things.

A lot of people that I know don't lean a certain way because of a wide range of issues, but rather because of a few issues that are deeply important to them. Like Catholics that firmly believe in the right to life, LBGT community and their associated rights or lack thereof, and minorities that vote for the wide spectrum of handouts so many of us hate. :) I've known many people of the LBGT community in the south that grew up with a lot of the same political leanings and values most of us share, but they feel like their cause is neglected by the right and they are 100% correct about that. Sign of the times, I guess.. and a sign of the people dominating the right need to get with the times if they want to appeal to the youth vote.

I don't think people just up and decide to be different one day. AFAIK he's dealt with this a long time. Ultimately, who cares? He has a right to be happy. As a man who knows multiple people that are like this, including a Fire Department chief, their lifestyle affects none of us except for possibly making some of the homophobic uncomfortable because of their own inadequacies. :)

I open carry sometimes and find that my situational awareness is on high everywhere I go. Obviously, you should always practice situstional awareness.. But, when I've open carried I feel hypersensitive. There's a lot to be said about open carry in terms of comfort, ease of accessability, possible deterrent, etc. There's good arguments for both sides, and if I owned a big iron I'd probably open carry it too. Single action revolvers are awesome and if the guy is well trained he could probably get more shots off in a second than I could with a semi-auto. :)

Jack Fire is way better than Fireball. But, they're all too sugary for me. It's all the rage downtown and in clubs everywhere. The young folk drink it like it's water.

Motorcyclists have a hard enough time being seen and respected on the road. Why would a biker make it worse for themselves by not just speeding but going way over the limit? I see it all the time. It's stupid. It gets people killed, and it's primarily the fault of the rider.

What is the deal with these? Did I miss something? I'm compiling my list of guns I want to buy this year and have been looking around the web and can't seem to find a single one in stock.
