There have been times that I had a beer or two over the course of a few hours that I realized I needed something at the corner store(milk, dip, whatever) and I felt fine with going armed. A beer or two over that period of time does nothing to me. Do I do it frequently? No. Maybe once or twice in the past. Usually I just stay at home and wait til the morn. Basic rule of thumb for my life is if I've consumed a sip or plan on doing so, the gun stays at home.

I got pulled over the other day for going 5 mph over and I informed the cop that I was armed and also had a 12 guage in the car, and he looked at me wide eyed and said, "What do you need that for?" lol.

I replayed it several years ago, and the graphics in no way ruined the memory for me. Still the best game ever. I still have the original copy. :) I will be coming out of console gaming retirement to play this. TAKE MY MONEY!

I'll be down there playing tomorrow and Friday if anybody's out and about and wants to stop by! I'll be on the Hard Rock main stage outside at 4 pm, and then at Fan Jam over at the Fairgrounds at 7. Then Friday I'm at the Wildhorse at 4 pm which is gonna be awesome. I know it's something a lot of locals avoid, but just throwing it out there! I'll be the guy trying to not print with only a t-shirt concealing a 92 on stage. :lol:

I have open carried in many places and states where legal and have encountered many cops. Not one of them hassled me. If there has been any communication, it was usually just a simple nod.

My buddy and I drove to Alpharetta, GA to see Rush on their 40th anniversary tour, and although they haven't outright said it, probably their last tour of this magnitude. It was like a religious experience. Those guys are still at the top of their game and put on a GREAT show. I saw them last year too, but this show was great because of how much of their back catalogue they played. Also, the Verizon Ampitheater was really nice. Lines to the bathroom were quick and plenty of places with ease of access to purchase adult beverages. Any Rush fans on here?

To me it's no different than NPR advertising for donations. Public radio is important to me, so why not donate? NRA should calm down a bit, tho.. :lol:

He was an accomplice as far as I know. He made up some story about he used to work at the Gibson factory and an old employee buddy didn't need or play this amp anymore and gave it to him over a debt he owed. Yeah. Right. I looked on Craigslist every single day for this damn thing and I was out on a gig and it popped up.. A friend I hadn't spoken to in a few years text me about it. The one day I didn't look a buddy finds it for me! Haha So, I called the guy, made up a fake name and had him meet "me" right by the precinct. The stupid man exclaimed, "That's perfect! Plenty of cops over those so we'll both feel safe!"

I wanted to update this thread by saying that my vintage amp was recovered! Showed up on Craigslist and within the hour I had detectives in an undercover vehicle showing up to arrest the guy! I had my amp back within two hours! Unbelievable! Much thanks to the Midtown Precinct! Great guys! I wish a local paper would cover something positive like this! They really care about the city's musicians and took great care of me.
