Yes-ish. I only shoot 2 kinds of auto-loaders right now, 1911's and Glocks. The 43 will be just like all my other Glock triggers, keeps things simple. That was the only reason I got rid of the Cm9 in first place, too many triggers to master. If another company with better ergos made the selection Glock does, I'd own them. The one unicorn is the 10mm, gen 4 brought me back into the fold. I was completely Glock-less for about 3years after getting rid of my G3 17. 1911's are natural for me, no work to shoot or be comfortable, but they don't fit weight and size wise into my daily routine well. I've shot and tried the Sig 938, it's not a 1911, the safety is short and hard to click off like standard 1911 and lacks the grip safety. At this point, I have to at least "try" a 43. eta: I don't pocket carry, so the slightly larger profile doesn't apply. IWB only.

Only way I'd get a PM was for the black finish and night sights. I carried a CM9 for 3yrs religiously, it never failed, was light and plenty accurate, I paid $359 plus tax. I regret selling it. It is smaller than most the micro 9's. I won't be buying another(yet) since the 43 is on my list now.

Which is by no coincidence where the confirmed(twice confirmed) sightings and photos were taken last year, just a few miles outside of Gibson Co. near the river. I live in Gibson County, as above, I never go into the woods unarmed(or anywhere else, I.e..bathroom, garage, etc). Not for the cats, but meth-heads can't be trusted. I've found shake and bake meth stuff more times than I like in the woods. Also found a substantial amount of marijuana plants being cultivated once. Of course this was public lands.

Saw my first one while doing survey work at LBL 10yrs ago. Body was iridescent midnight blue with yellow accents. Looked like a wasp, but flew more like a bee. Smacked it with a joe blade, couldn't kill it quick enough. Thing seriously creeped me out.

And no smoke from no wax lube, reduced fouling, and no sticky fingers or dies. Still load as cast, flaring and crimping in same manner.

I'd say AR, but also mags and ammo. I like to have 5 per pistol at least and 10 per rifle .

Stick with your idea of Anderson only, it'll make you feel better having a "matched" pair. Skip the 24" barrel idea, that thing is a waste. To make it easy, just get a 16" flat topped upper and add whatever optics you choose(from sounds of things,magnified scope seems like it's in your future). Totally worth the drive to go to Anniston. Depending on budget, pick your grade. Also allow for a can of surplus ammo and a box of clips and GI sling. Remember not to shoot current production 30-06 through it without installing adjustable gas plug.

Blowback 10mm is iffy. Remember, springs work in both directions. Too much rear travel leads to broken bolt catches upon return. You may also run into feeding issues as the bolt overruns the mags.

Really, that's on you. There is a learning curve to properly assembling an upper. Also, adding a supressor changes gas impulse, so there may be some trial and error to get it to run right. You would also have to buy tools for the assembly. Are you dead-set on 10.5? It is not the optimal length unless you're trying to replicate the Mk18. 11.5 with carbine gas is much easier to run supressed. It also less harsh when fired supressed and has optimal barrel dwell for a short barrel. And, stays in the optimal ballistic performance range a tad longer. You may be better served buying a upper already built that is purpose built to your needs. What supressor are you planning on using?

You might wanna try some 45+p loading first. Might be all you want in that gun. Accurate powder has +p data in their online data guide. I've gotten 230's up to 950 in a commander.

Nothing wrong with Glocks, except the lack of a soul.... for a 1st, make it something nice. Honestly, a quality Ruger or S&W .357 would be a gun for a young man to own his entire life and never outgrow its usefulness. 4" stainless or blued. Simple manual of arms, lots of ammo options/availability , good for field, plinking or HD use.

Still needs a mount for an AR height though.

Started with 870 18" barrel, then tried 500 20" barrel. 2 matches is all it took to realize I was undergunned. I went with the beretta 1301 comp, added +5 Nordic tube and couldn't be happier. It is way fast, cycles everything and comes with extended controls. I will say one thing, it's the shooter to some extent. My buddy runs a beat browning A5 and keeps up with no issues.

It's a rifle. What scope? Sighted for what? fwiw, not an AR.

When I shot 45 in competition, to help with faster follow up shots, the 5grn bullseye under a 200grn makes major still and is a soft shooter. I actually load .40 to similar specs, 200 at 850 for 3gun.

Go up to $400, get the aimpoint pro. 200yds with a 50yd zero is cake. With recent issue/recall I wouldn't touch eotech. Primary arms advanced micro dot is really nice for about $200 with a mount. Long battery life.

As above, my first handgun was a gen 3 17, I thought I shot it ok. Then I picked up a 1911, I was 2x as accurate and was in love(still am). Then gen 4 came out and I tried a buddy's. Complete change in dynamics.

As a fellow bullet coater, those look like they did not cure all the way. Also looks like coating is quite thick. Eta: they can be melted down again, the PC floats to top and can be skimmed. Does smell pretty bad, so best done with good ventilation.

The honest answer, .223 isn't ever really hearing safe. Assuming AR platform, the bolt noise(just release, not firing)alone is above noise levels suggested. Also, the gas bleed off from the bolt is loud. A 9" can isn't necessary. You could easily do 7-8" 1.5" can and get great results. The 1.625" option is nice, I have 2 that use this size, 7" and one 8.5".
