1. It is just a paper weight. I felt sorry for the guy who owned it. I did him a favor by taking it off his hands.
2. I shoot them all as much as I can. I don't and haven't shot the blue GP Wiley Clapp much. It is hard to mess up a stainless Ruger.
3. I used to own several Smiths, but most of them had the lock. I still have a couple of prelock, but have sold all of them that had the lock. I will not buy another new Smith until they get rid of the lock. They have already come out with models without the lock. Once they start producing all their revolvers without the lock, you will have a hard time moving a Smith with one.
4. It sure is, it's trigger is great. I went back and forth on stainless or blued. Happily settled on the blue. At some point I am sure I will get the stainless version.

WGD

After looking at the recent posts of BRD, or black rifle disease I had a realization. I have a much older, but equally debilitating one, Wheel Gun Disease or WGD. Although I have owned many Smiths I am partial to Rugers. I love looking at the AR pics you guys have, but I wouldn't get rid of my revolvers for one. I have included pics of my Ruger Wheel Guns, or Sears Catalog edition of Gun Porn. Hope you enjoy.
6. You are better at that with one hand than I would be with two. Always enjoy your videos, I still laugh every time I think about your dad and the general lee.
7. #1 on east tn patriot, his in not in the Nashville area, but his turn around time in crazy fast with high quality work.
8. I am done playing that game, both my hands are full.
9. Hunted a lot of hogs in West Texas, but never in TN. I always hunted their water source at dusk. Where I was it was slim pickins if they wanted a drink, so they had to come to me. If you have one main access to water that would not be a bad option, especially when it starts to heat up.
10.

Congrats! While it might not be an everyday plinker because of the ammo, I would seriously consider it as a carry weapon. 22mag is some hard hitting stuff and to have 30 rounds of it with a spare mag to make 60 in a small package is just ridiculous!
I have been seriously considering this sense I picked it up. It is light and weighs next to nothing. Mine weights 1.23lbs fully loaded. It is also very thin.
11. I literally picked one up on Thursday, Orr what I consider a good price, and had no idea there was a shortage of 22mag at the time. I figure it may be hard to find just like 22lr. I have a couple hundred rounds, but that is it. I am pissed, but it is what it is. Happy with the gun, but after one range session I can't feed it any more.

PSA 9mm AR

I know this is about the PSA, but a local shop has a CMMG 9mm pistol for right at $900. I am seriously considering buying. Any thought on that? Can you turn a pistol into an SBR?
13. I just got one back from East_TN_Patriot and I cannot imagine anyone doing a better job. I plan on posting about it when I have time to take some pics.
14. Don't forget about something to carry your new tool in.
15. The end.
16. Don't wait, hit him up and he will make what you want. That is how I am getting that second knife you see in this post. He could not be easier to work with and goes above and beyond to get you what you want. Can't wait to get my hands in it, just waiting on one of our resident leather masters to work their magic on a sheath.
17. Being able to magnify to a six is nice, but I really like the option to power down all the way to a one.  One of the only complaints I read about the Leopold was some people felt the scope was not a true 1.25 and had a hard time shooting with both eyes open on the lowest setting.  Thanks for the heads up.
18. Thanks, if I wasn't looking for an illuminated retical, then the Nikon would be in the running. That is good info on the sight hight. I currently looking into a similar set up for sites. $$$ just keeps adding up. That being said, I would rather pay more upfront for something I am going to be happy with.
19. I thought about this. May be something I will do down the road. Have you ever had or used this type of setup?
20. When I moved here from Texas I asked my father-outlaw if he wanted to go squirrel hunting. I was shocked by his response, "We can't because they are not in season." I was even more shocked to know you couldn't hunt rabbit year round and it was regulated. The following animals are considered no-game in Texas and you can shoot them on private lands at any time and method you deem ok. Hogs are considered game, buy can be harvested at anytime with no limit. Armadillos Bobcats Coyotes Flying squirrels Frogs Ground squirrels Mountain lions Porcupines Prairie dogs Rabbits Turtles You can shoot in sight, bait, spotlight at night. I am not saying I agree with all of this, but I see no reason why some one could not take coyotes in their property. I also want to add that in my youth I shot many of these animals for sport, but I now have no desire to kill anything that I am not going to eat or is destroying property.
21. I am pretty sure I am going to get the Leupold. One youtuber stated that he thought the 1.25 magnification was more like 1.5 and had a hard time using it with both eyes open. Has anyone had any experience with this? I am also going to forgo the high seethrough mount and get a lt104 - Larue Tactical quick release mount. Thanks for everyone's help.
22. On low power with illumination, I would think target acquisition would quick in relatively close to the red dot. Am I wrong?
