If you are anywhere close to Bellevue. You owe it to your self to stop in. It has the nicest indoor range I have seen in TN. -
I love a good skinner, and that is impressive!

Great work! Your photography is excellent, it helped bring the gun back to life in this thread. -
Who makes that rear sight? I like the green.

Anyone else getting a Microsoft Smart Screen Warning?
I am Groot! replied to DaveTN's topic in Feedback and Support
Microsoft must thinks that TGO is tame compared to the other stuff you were looking at in your old computer. -

I am not planning on building a precision AR, but I am planning on building a AR in the future. As someone who has never attempted it, these videos are great and set up an excellent blue print. Thanks for posting.

What's your valuable survival skill?
I am Groot! replied to jgradyc's topic in Survival and Preparedness
I am 6'7" and over 3 bills, but what ever scrap I get in better be over in 5 minutes. At that point I will be having a heart attach and with no power, there will not be a defibrillator to bring me back. -

I can pat my head and rub my belly at the same time. -
You had me at Boobies.

The problem is not what it looks like. The problem is irresponsible gun owners, that don't properly store their firearms. I teach my kids about firearm safety, but if I left one not properly locked up, they would pick it up no matter what it looked like.

This review is over due. I recently asked Grand Torino to make me a knife and he graciously obliged. The knife he made exceeded my expectations, but we all have seen the quality of work that he can produce. I asked him to send the knife to East TN Patriot for a leather sheath. In my world 1911s, revolvers and knives need a leather sheath and this knife received one of the nicest sheaths I have ever seen. Both the knife and sheath are functional works of art. The best part about the sheath is the wearer can customize it to their needs. It is modular and can be taken apart and put back together in any configuration. When I am camping I plan to wear it horizontally across the back of my belt in this fashion. The following are other arrangements and closeup pics of the sheath. The other loop on the back is for a fire stick. We have many great craftsmen on TGO and I enjoy seeing all of the creative items they make. Thanks again to GT and East TN Partiot for a great knife sheath combo. Matt

WHAT AN HONOR I have the distinguished honor of being on the Committee to raise $50,000,000 for a Monument to Hillary R. Clinton. We originally wanted to put her on Mt. Rushmore until we discovered there was not enough room for two more faces. We then decided to erect a statue of Hillary in the Washington, D.C. Hall of Fame. We were in a quandary as to where the statue should be placed. It was not proper to place it beside the Statue of George Washington, who never told a lie, or beside her husband William J. Clinton, who never told the truth, since Hillary could never tell the difference. We finally decided to place it beside the Statue of Christopher Columbus, the greatest Democrat of them all. He left not knowing where he was going, and when he got there he did not know where he was. He returned not knowing where he had been, and did it all on someone else's money.

People make things stand for what every they want it to. Some people think this is a Chinese Restraunt sign, some people think it stands for something else.

I am a Metallica - Punisher - Chris Kyel fan. Can't all the head bangers, nerds and gun advocates just get along? Seriously, I got a new to me truck last year and I didn't put any stickers like that on the back of my truck for the same reason.

I have on the GP 100s. One of the great things about Rugers is how easy they are to work on. I have not messed withe the RedHawks. That top one with the Pachmayer Grips is from SKS customs and it has one of the best triggers I have ever felt. The other two RedHawks have good triggers. I figure I will just shoot them into shape. I assume you have done some of this?

I traded for it form another fellow TGOer. He is more than welcome to chime in on the gun, pictures do not do it justice. It is a 45lc Ruger Blackhawk that has been customized. The grips were made by CLC custom grips and and believe that he also recontoured the grip frame. The grips area near more beautiful in person. CLC customs is currently not making grips due to health reasons. You can click on the link and see the quality of his work. http://www.clccustomgrips.com The sights, lanyard ring, over sized pin and guid rod are from Bowen Classic Arms. The installation of these parts was completed by Tom Marker at Lock Stock & Barrel. He also did a trigger job, recrowned the barrel and removed the markings Ruger puts on their guns. Tom does excellent work and has worked on a shotgun for me. I believe the inspiration for the gun came from the work of Bowen Classic Arms, most of the parts came from him. The sights he makes are excellent. If you don't want to spend countless hours staring and some of the most beautiful firearms you have seen, don't click the link I provided below. http://www.bowenclassicarms.com My favorite of the bunch is the 45lc/45acp Redhawk pictured with it.

I want to see what Great Smiles has in his safe. Compared to that, what I have is but a pittance.
