  1. Thanks for the heads up, that Kimel AP-9 looks better and from what little I read seems to be alot better gun for what I'm wanting.
  2. First off Thank you for your reply and advice. After doing a little more research, talking to more people and from what you've said about the Tec-9 I am no longer wanting one. The AK-47 I like is the Mini Draco 30+1 7.62x39mm 7.5" or the ARSENAL SLR106-58 SLR-106UR 20+1 223REM/5.56NATO 8.5".
  3.  I don't want to break any rules on here so before I post a wanted ad I need to know if these two firearms, an Intratec 9mm or an AK47 (pistol type) are prohibited to sell or buy on this forum. Thank you in advance for any help on this subject.
  4. I was with Verizon for years and had great service. I think I was paying around $55.00 a month for unlimited talk and text. My best friend moved into his new house about five months ago and where he lives I had several no coverage areas. He is with U S Cellular and said he never has that problem so I switched over to them. I had to sign a 2yr. contract, got a Motorola Moto X smart phone for .99 cents, unlimited talk, text and 300mb off data, I don't use the data but have to have it for this kind of phone, and I pay $61.68 each month set up on auto-pay. I even had my home landline turned off and after getting use to answering and talking on this cell phone only I am a happy feller. I was paying $40.00 a month for my landline.
  5. Congrats, very nice piece.
  6. Wow, very very nice. This is one caliber I don't have but do plan on buying one real soon. I've been looking for a good used one but they are few and far between. Congratulations!!
  7. Hello and thank you for the welcome and the link. I'm originally from Union county but bought my house in Mascot about 10yrs. ago. I really like it here and have no plans on moving. Mascot used to have a bad name but as far as I can tell it's a great place to live, I even bought another house here 3yrs. ago for an investment/rental property. I will check these folks out and see what all is involved. Once again, Thank you!!
  8. Thanks for the correction. I will try the HCP search and see what I can find locally. My Dad has a friend that taught classes but has since fallen ill. I have been disabled since 2007, accident at work, and am very close to being in a wheelchair. In my condition I am no longer able to defend myself and have heard some terrible things that go on in our world today. I read an article not to long ago about a group of people that would watch pharmacies for folks that are clearly disabled/handicapped, follow them either to their house or stop them before they got home, and rob them of their medication. I go thru the drive-thru, not just for that reason but because of my walking ability, when at all possible but am still worried about the what if's. I keep a very close eye on my surroundings at all times. I got my first gun when I was 9yrs. old and have loved and collected them ever since.
  9. Congratulations!!! I have been looking for a class to take, or an instructor, close to me.
  10. I'm telling you what, lol, I was google searching for CCP classes in my area and your forum popped up. All these years i've been on the computer I never knew a (Tennessee Only) gun forum exsisted. This is awesome! I quit searching for CCP classes and registered here and plan on becoming a paid member asap. I am so stoked right now.
