Why do you think this country accomplished what it has in just over 200 years???? Many countries have more natural resources. Our people are not smarter than others from around the world. But yet we lead the world in almost everything. It's because our founding fathers did not believe in the decrepit government models of Europe, and created something infinitely better. Yet lefties continue to push us in that direction dooming us to the mediocrity that is Europe. Yeah, real enlightened.

I believe what they do for these rounds is load them with a very fast burning powder. So it gets the feet per second up quickly for short barrels. My guess is that it will be fine for 6 in too. It might be a really sweet shooting load as well. I say this beause the theory we all use in the USPSA to create a very soft feeling load that still makes major power is: Fast powder and heavey bullet.

I saw what you are talking about. I should have said the gun doesn't cycle at the bang (sorry). The bang is just after the cycle. Kinda like someone off camera pulling the trigger on a real gun the moment he sees the airsoft gun goes off. The gun on camera is an airsoft gun. The real gun was switched for the airsoft the second the real gun came off camera. Plus a 9mm would have more muzzle lift. Also, it takes longer for blood to flow from what is always a cauterized hole when hot lead passes through flesh. Also, the blood they used is theatrical blood that holds it's shape and does not move. If it were real blood it would have been smeared by the vest.

I see no difference in OC of law enforcement and OC in civilians other than cops are payed to take calls and make reports and intervene when necessary. The case I pointed out to you could have easily been an OC among the folks at the meeting and of course would have been the first to die long before he could have got his gun out. When someone is hell bent on an objective they will always eliminate a known threat first in order to accomplish their goal. Always. And your request of finding a case that something like this happened to a OC is only hard to do for one reason. Most of the shall issue states require CC and states like ours the HUGE majority CC anyway. But I'm sure if I looked long enough I could find one for you but I have not the time nor inclination to do so. We will have to agree to diasagree on this.

How about explaining it in a way your friends can understand. I tell folks that I carry for the same reasons police officers do. You see, since everyone is innocent until proven guilty the police do not uphold/enforce the law. That is for the justice system is do. The courts prove innocence or guilt and then uphold/enforce the law. So cops carry for the same reason I do. To protect themselves and to protect other peoples lives. Simple. That is why I carry. Oddly, people have this impression that our police are trained so very well. And some truly are but the guy fresh out of the academy is not. When you add up his or her training it amounts to very little IMO. My nine year old son who is shooting in my avatar could easily pass metro's qualification test.

Personally I don't care how one carries. But what is really being talked about here is a known entity vs. an unknown entity. The unknown entity will always have the advantage.
