  1. Loved the video. If the constitution was not being used for toilet paper for the last 70+ years, much of what we fight about would not exist. If the three branches actually followed the rule of law instead of twisting everything for an agenda we would not be here either. The tenth amendment still exists. The commerce clause, is and has been twisted to apply to anything they wish. Under the guise of the "living document theory" the constitution has been ignored and dismissed routinely. Only an agenda driven judge could have come up with such nonsense. They actually came up with a way of changing the constitution without actually changing the document. Even though the document can be changed up to and including having a constitutional convention where you can start over completely. But that would be too hard and not to mention legal. Both sides use bizarre procedures to pass legislation that would otherwise fail. Of course the most recent, and abused by both sides is reconciliation. Like the commerce clause twisted to fit any agenda. Getting back to the constitution is our only real hope.
  2. +1 JFK would look like a complete right winger when compared to today's dems.
  3. In general the only thing wikipedia proves is that a keyboard will hold still for any moron to type on it. LOL Seriously, it is a very flawed source and should never be trusted.
  4. He would be right at home in your native land.

  7. I'd say that is game, set, and match.
  8. Look, giving all your money to the state/king or whatever, and let them take care of you has been done for eons. It has never worked. It always ends in extreme oppression. This is not new, and it is not change! In fact it is just boring, and completely void of imagination. There are many ways we can fix the problem of healthcare. But Obama and the libs solution to everything is to give it to the government, create another broken bureaucracy, and tax the people even more to pay for it. Wow, they are freakin' genuises!!!!
  9. Well there ya go ladies and gents. So what country are you from? Somewhere in Europe?
  10. I just asked because it is really hard to read/understand much of what you write. Maybe english is your 2nd language?????
  11. Yep, capitalism can and has created a very rich country with a great Navy. But capitalism and socialism/communism is like fire and water. And this bill is like tons of water that may smother us to a meager smolder like much of Europe, and then maybe we too can have one boat. That would be great.
  12. The U.S. Postal Service is BROKE. Social Security is BROKE. Fannie Mae is BROKE. Medicaid is BROKE. Medicare is running at 9.5 times over budget. Freddie Mac is BROKE. The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before. It is an abysmal FAILURE. They have failed in every "government service" they have shoved down our throats while overspending our tax dollars and drowning us in debt. So heck, I'm not sure why I think this bill is a bad idea?? This one will surely go better.
  13. I never buy anything at 1,000% markup. LOL

  15. I'm a huge fan of the Milt Sparks VM2 and summer special. Very comfortable with my 1911's. Even carrying full size.
  16. THIS!!!! Yep it is not insurance it is health care maintenance. If car insurance looked like healthcare insurance there would be a co-pay on oil changes and tires and windshield wipers etc....
  17. When I was in college I started a come to your home car detailing service. I made up flyers and passed them out in well to do neighborhoods. All the home needed to supply was the water/electricity. I brought the hose, vacuum, extension cord and everything else you need to do a great job and it was easy to make 100+ in a day and this was in the 80's. Just get an idea and make it work. Don't wait for someone to give you a job in this economy.
  18. It is obvious that this is the first step to a single health payer system. If you have not seen this you should watch it.
  19. I don't worry about scratches or wear much and I kinda like the look of a well worn gun. I totally get it though, but I finally came to the conclusion that the enjoyment I get from carrying such an awesome gun everyday far out ways the extreme outside chance of losing it after a shooting or something. I just figured life is too short.
  20. Sales of the 1911 were fine before the ban and are fine now. Prices are comparable adjusting to inflation. Given the amount of companies who make a 1911 I think it goes way beyond the 10 round ban. S&W Kimber Colt Springield Taurus STI Remington (new this coming year) Dan Wesson Fusion Night Hawk Para Ord Rock Island Sig Sauer Wilson Combat Les Baer Ed Brown And if you ever tried to get one built by a notable 1911 smith be prepared to wait 18 months or so. I see no end to the success of the 1911 platform.
  21. Because it is worth every penny. If a person would detail strip a stock springer and compare it to one of my customs, you would see in short order the superior quality of the parts and fit. It would be evident quickly how much hands on work the smith did. When you rack the slide you would feel that everything is working in harmony, and the gun will not beat itself up. The accuracy will be superior and one should easily expect to shoot it into its third barrel with little to no problems. You cannot expect that from a factory built gun, and like a Kimber TLE I had, you will probably start having problems with broken MIM parts or cracked frames etc before 100k maybe before 50k in some cases. Probably means little to most shooters that shoot a couple thousand rounds a year, and there really is no reason to spend the extra money for most. But never think you are not getting your moneys worth because you definitely are. The question is...is it worth it to you? Warning though, when you get your first it is really disheartening to carry an over the counter gun again.
