  1. Ahh, a kneeler...gotcha. Just wanted to ask, blacks make up what percentage of crime stats??
  2. I keep hearing 200 rounds being thrown around, I highly doubt they have a full count yet, but if so that would mean pass-throughs and ricochets accounted for the higher number and some of the injured are probably not due to gun fire.
  3. Maybe even a disgruntled Raiders fan?? You can make this fit practically any narrative nowadays.
  4. A kill shot with a 5.56 AR is doable, been doable for a long time. Hell, even a 22LR has a range beyond a mile.
  5. I think it's been well established that you do have the Right, but there will be consequences.
  6. The problem is that the NFL, Owners, and Couches/staff are part of the problem. The NFL has a rule about standing for the Anthem, but have yet to fine anyone, even when it was just one or two doing it. But they have fined some for wearing shoes of the wrong color in support of things like breast cancer.
  7. You may be right in saying we are discussing it, but not in a meaningful way. I find it hard, nay, impossible to support any cause that begins by spitting in my face.
  8. If that turns out to be the case, we are in for some interesting times.

    AR prices

AR prices are getting pretty good, just noticed these lowers for $29.99, might have to build a few more. http://www.primaryarms.com/anderson-manufacturing-ar-15-stripped-lower-receiver-closed-ear-ar-15-a3-lwfor-um-closed Right now I'm looking for a 9mm lower, local, under or equal to the ones from PSA at $179.99. http://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-glock-9mm-complete-classic-pistol-lower.html
  10. At this point, it's beyond the initial issue. Now, it's them trying to get out of a situation they should not of gotten into in the first place. Just don't get it, it's not about religion, or forcing someone to stand, salute or whatever. It's about the deliberate and calculated show of disrespect for the symbols of our nation. Yes, they have the right to not stand, have the right to burn, piss on or otherwise mutilate the flag, but I have the same right to not give a turd about why they are doing it.
  11. Well, it's like me walking up to your house and ripping up your flower beds to get you into a conversation about the HOA. It would be hard to get past the flower issue. Same deal here, it's hard getting some, me included, to care why you are disrespecting the very country, and by extension, the soldiers that secured your freedom to act like an azzhat.
  12. Again, if they would of just stayed in their locker room and kept out of it, we wouldn't be at this point. And now that they are acting like they are, I'm sure DOD is having second thoughts as well.
  13. That's what I've been saying but some just can't comprehend that; they only want to see things their way.
  14. Those type of incidents may not be too far ahead. There are some that are really off their rails. http://www.dailyherald.com/news/20170928/u-46-board-member-the-flag-means-nothing-more-than-toilet-paper-to-me
  15. No, they are using it as a recruiting tool. How many people would volunteer, or allow family to volunteer if they seen troops treated like they were during the Vietnam war? Most contracts do not allow making the team or the NFL look bad, though I see that part is subjective.
  16. Yes, but I highly doubt the partnership continues as before. Of course, most miss the fact that they must use propaganda to recruit in today's "snowflake" environment.
  17. He has a point, you edited his post and made little attempt to mark where you edited it. I had to go back to the original to see what you had changed.
  18. So why use "accuracy's sake" and not "opinion's sake"?
  19. If they would have stayed in the locker room, and said they are just pulling away from the politics I'd have a different opinion. But no, they want to stay in or lock arms in protest so, we are where we are.
  20. Actually the original was more accurate.
  21. Yea, you'd be wrong. Nobody is saying they don't have the right to protest, just that they don't like they way their doing it. I highly doubt the Army is OK with it, and I will be surprised if they don't pull back their advertising once the paid for commercials run their course.
  22. It's this kind of attitude that kinda ticks me off. Just because I don't like rioting, burning and looting stores, or anyone disrespecting our country I'm The Problem???
  23. Hmmm, all this planning, sounds like a RICO case to me.
  24. Yea, so all you do is soak them (cracked but whole) in a 5gl bucket of water for about 10 or 15 minutes, then pour the water out over an area that may have worms, they come right up. Have a clean bucket of water handy to rinse them off or they'll die.
