  1. I've used 26 yards as a zero for some time in .270, it worked great for my purposes. Specially useful when you don't have long distance ranges to zero at. https://www.americanhunter.org/articles/2014/2/4/the-26-yard-hunting-zero/ So I looked for a distance to use with my M4, I settled on 36 yards which worked better, for me, than 50 meters.
  2. I think so, the tumbler I have is quieter than my vibratory tumblers. Might be because it's full of water, but it is quieter, not quiet by any means, but quieter. And, if done right, less mess; I always hated the fine dust that would go all over when I opened, then sifted the media.
  3. Really, how so? My daughter hit a deer in Nashville, they had the car towed to Clarksville to Bumpus, and paid for a rental. The issues were on Bumpus (took too long), but they all made it right by Bumpus paying for the rental beyond stated time.
  4. Yup, SS wet tumbling is the way to go, I have a Frankford Arsenal that I got on sale, I got their magnet as well, and a Midsouth media separator. I tumble for about an hour, gets them pretty clean with a tablespoon of Dawn or Car Wash soap, with carnuba wax, and 1/4 teaspoon of citric acid (lemishine), the tumbler came with some pins but I got the MTM pins, before the tumbler, I was getting ready to use an HF tumbler. The first time or two I had some pins still mixed in with the cases, but now I have it down and don't have a single pin mixed in.
  5. I had SunTrust a long time ago, can't recall why I left, might of been charges, ATM or check fee. I've been with BOA for a long time, never really had a big problem with their service. But enough is enough, time to give my business to companies that support my side of things, or at least stay neutral.
  6. You guys make use of the wax? It's a great additive for bullet lube and even to flux your lead when melting wheel weights.
  7. My WAG would be a motorcyclist, vibrations may of jarred it loose from a holster.
  8. So they do jump up and try to kill people all by themselves!
  9. When she gets the axe and they reverse their actions, I may consider doing business with them again, but for now I'm out. I have no problem with people (or corporations) having a stance, but when their actions are contrary or a detriment to our Constitution, I will vote with my feet, and $$.
  10. Interested In what it has to say, I started cancelling all my BOA accounts and let them know why, closed two and have two more to go.
  11. It was for the watchers on the live stream, it made the id and gave a few factoids of each celebrity.
  12. I agree, some victims are so messed up that they don't die for some time, and those that survive are never the same again. Maybe if there was never any act, such as when police do a sting on those trying to hire a hitman, but when you, or someone for you, physically try, it should be game over.
  13. If you ever visit the VA, they had advertising for these for some time. As a retiree, I carry my ID card but also have a copy of my VA Ratings letter, I got my lifetime hunting license here with it and TX gives me a free hunting license when I go out there.
  14. They do that to copyright it. But as to the service, there are already a few out there. Just adding; this is why it got on the news https://www.pymnts.com/amazon-innovations/2018/amazon-rekognition-artificial-intelligence-royal-wedding/
  15. Facts? How dare you introduce facts into this touchy-feely debate??
  16. In that part of the world, an honor killing would not be out of the question.

Yea, I'm in the shoot it camp as well. Start it's history and pass it on down the family line when time comes.

    Dang deer

That sucks, and not even a backstrap to show for it. Good thing nobody got hurt...did the bag go off?
  20. If your lawn is anything like mine, no matter what you do it will come back, seems I have more clover than grass.

That is awesome, I love knowing these things actually go to someone. I sign up now and then, always feeling they just get your info and never actually award anything.
  22. My issue was the leak, they haven't yet got to the feeder itself. The bowl type I ordered has a built in most for ants, it gets good reviews against ants and bees, so hopefully I won't have any issues.
