ATF issues Cease & Desist to Q over Honey Badger "pistol"
Omega replied to Capbyrd's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Please explain the gun show loophole? All FFLs are required to do a BG check at a show or their establishment, private sellers are not, if at a gunshow or not. So are you saying you support having BG checks for private sales? -

The thing about Trump, is that he will do what he says. It's up to us to persuade him to see things as we do, so when things like this come up he will act according to our side of things, and the Constitution. We will win some, and lose some, and like with the bumpstocks you will have some gun owners support the loses because they didn't like them. -
Scroll to the bottom; Stats are from the CDC, as of Feb 2020. Assuming those deaths are correctly attributed to the China Virus (big assumption), that makes it the 6th leading cause of death so far, right above hypertension (high blood pressure), and under Alzheimer's.

Highly doubt it. https://www.worldlifeexpectancy.com/tennessee-cause-of-death-by-age-and-gender

Check your PMs, I sent the number for the Clarksville guys. You could stop by their shop and they will use your gun to mold the kydex.
-
There were some guys in Clarksville doing hybrid kydex/leather holsters a bit back, let me see if I still have their contact info. They used my Glock 23 to mold the kydex for a holster I got from them years ago, still holding up pretty well. I'll check to see if they still operate and PM you their info. https://www.gunlistings.org/tennessee-gun-classifieds/clarksville/accessories/221713/handmade_iwb_conceal_carry_holster

We were exposed to the military attack dogs and the tracking dogs in SERE, to give you the experience and possibly reduce the shock during the real thing. That is an experience that will not be forgotten. Even with a suit you can feel the pressure on your arm, and when they hit you full tilt, it is enough to easily get you off balance, so the ground portion is a definite possibility. I would sure hate to have one of them latch on to me without a suit, I am sure there would be blood and broken bones with some of these dogs.

Good option with the rat snakes, but they are lazy bastards in the winter.

Not necessarily, I have a small 2k, cheap one, that is surprisingly quite. I'm sure the more expensive units, like Honda's are as quite if not more so. You also can build a shelter for it with sound barriers to deaden them even more. The thing is, if there are folks roaming around like marauders then you have other issues, as I'm sure they're not just looking for generators. Be prepared to guard everything, from everyone, with extreme prejudice.
-
I got one of the cheap ones, used it a couple years, and they worked ok. Then found instructions to build a better one, with shutoff valve. But, I've tried to purchase adapters for propane appliances to run off 20lb cylinders, much more convenient. My heater gets the most use,

Vacuum seal them. Any dry foodstuffs benefit from airtight storage. Even other things.

I have two different brands, one broke real easy, the other has worked decently so far, but they are brittle and can't take too much torque. But slow hammer drill works decently, at least for the applications I've tried so far.

So what is 9MM really selling for on secondary market
Omega replied to urdubob's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Yes, and for those folks that remember, well, like I said No Sympathy. But, there are quite a few new gun owners and reloaders that haven't experienced this, and for those folks I may have a little bit left, but only a little. -
So..you're saying it should be voluntary? What a concept.

So, since many organs can be harvested from one person, and there are many in need, shouldn't we be taking out a few for organs for the many?

Primers seem to be the issue, finding them and affording them. Glad I stocked up before all this. After these last shortages, if folks don't stock up, not sure I'll have any sympathy. -
I was in Denver a few weeks ago, when the fires were dumping ash all over Denver and the smoke was bad. An air alert went out saying those with breathing issues should stay in, and that the China Virus masks were not adequate to protect from smoke particles. which are way bigger than the China Virus. Just makes me wonder just how these studies are conducted, seems pretty clear to me that if it doesn't stop one size, smaller would be even worse.
-
Last time I seen a barrel that bad was when we had an M1 Abrams run over caches of weapons.
-
You know, if the government recommended this level of mask, I would be more inclined to think maybe they were serious about protecting people. But as it is, well, there are reasons why many mask packagings have disclaimers.

We like what we like. I had wanted a Mini-14 for a long time, but only got one a few years ago from a fellow TGOer. They are nice and all, but maybe it's because of having been using them for a long time, but I like the ARs better. But we are not locked in to just having one, so I have many different weapons with different purposes.

What makes me responsible for your fear?

Yea, heard supply and demand are getting better. Still not buying, lead maybe but I am good for another few years unless cost comes down to pre-BS prices. Just picked up a few 6.5 CM supplies, enough to load some ladders and enough left over to hunt with next year. But still need some dies and a mold or two to try out, and oh yea a rifle too :-).
