    New Targets

I got some of the same targets from Shooting Target 7, and the stand and hangers from AR500-Targets.
  2. I am not believing that all those gun owners are not my enemies. There are quite a few lefties that are increasingly becoming violent, and feel anyone that does not agree with them are their enemies.
  3. Relax, just think...we will finally know how many bodies it will take to high center an 18 wheeler
  4. Don't take it personal, Memphis is a big city, and as each big city can attest to, it is crime ridden. I am sure there are areas, and possibly times, that you would be completely safe being out there alone or in small groups, but like any big city this mainly applies to locals who know the difference on the time and place they can hang out unmolested. I grew up in Denver, and I could go just about anywhere and blend right in, but I also knew where to keep my head on a swivel, and places not to go into at certain times of the day, or night. I can't do much of that today, been gone to long.
  5. My guess is no, they don't do surgical precision but shotgun blasts.
  6. You are right, for the most part, but every now and then you can be minding your non hoodrat business and violence erupts around you. In Nashville there have been a few mall incidents where shots ring out when opposing hoodrats meet.
  7. looks like a small pterodactyl.
  8. He isn't too far off, Memphis is very crime infested on a day-to-day basis, so maybe it just wasn't noticed. https://www.areavibes.com/memphis-tn/crime/
  9. Until the Libertarian Party gets more support, at least more toward the 33% of the vote they cannot compete in the General Election. in 2016 they only got 3.3% of the vote, which is the higher than in 2012 with just 1%, with all previous years at less than 1%. If during the Primaries, an alternate party gets a high percent of the vote, it would then let the winner at least know that some of their supporters are not happy with how things are working. In the Primaries, it may be a good idea to implement a Ranked Choice type of election, that way your vote goes to the party more closer aligned to your view of things. But in the General election, it is my opinion that votes get wasted if not given toward one the two leading parties. https://www.fairvote.org/a_history_of_independent_presidential_candidates https://www.fairvote.org/rcv#where_is_ranked_choice_voting_used
  10. The fact that a vote for any party not an R or a D in the general election is a lost vote (actually goes against the side closer to your side of issues) fails to register on some folks. I would love to get some libertarian folks into office, but the best time to vote for them is in the primaries, once you get to the general election, they just bleed off votes from the Dem or Repub and may cause them to lose the election. I feel that is what happened when Perot ran, he caused the loss of Bush to Clinton.
  11. Yea, little by little I am sliding into the non vaccinated camp. I will let the vaccine work it's thing for a few seasons before I get it, I am no longer active duty, so being a guinea pig is behind me.
  12. Nah, sounds more like the SJWs in management decided to let the crowds arm themselves after the election.
  13. Nice press, it will be a fine replacement for a standard single stage press. You shouldn't need anything extra right off the bat, it doesn't need special adapters for the dies or any shell holders either, but there are a few upgrades that will make it better. I'd use it as is for a bit before buying upgrades though, unless you're just into spending money.
  14. It takes events like what have been happening lately to make some aware just how vulnerable they can be.
  15. Dang, must of been a heck of a spot. Seems like bacon is on the menu.
  16. Sounds like it would be a good case for the SC to rule on, once and for all.
  17. I suspect they would have to call in the Navy Seals to recover all those guns from all the boating accidents that would surely follow.
  18. You don't have another caliber? If not, or you just want to use your AR, then I would probably go with the heavier bullet, but make sure you have a fast twist, like 1:7 or maybe 1:8, anything slower may not stabilize the bullet enough.
  19. I used to plant a bunch of cayennes, but would get so many that I gave most away. One thing I did was dry a bunch out by laying out on a newspaper, turning them now and then. Once dry, I ground them up and use them to sprinkle on food like pizza, steaks etc. Takes very little to spice things up. Tried the same with ghost peppers once, almost choked to death grinding them though. Gave that away, way too hot for my uses. Now, I'll do just a few, along with other peppers, depends on what strikes my fancy at the time I look for seed or seedlings.
  20. Disagree with your assertion that the bump stock turns an AR into a machine gun, by that interpretation so does a stick, shoestring, or belt loop. Call it a loophole if you wish, but unless congress changes the definition of a machine gun, none of these devices make it one.
  21. Commercial .223 vs surplus 5.56 ammo in the same weight. Any POI or POA changes vs the two.
  22. Ok, I agree with you, but it is already illegal for them to possess guns. The only people that new laws affect, are those already following the law, simple as that. What we need is stiffer penalties for those that break existing laws, not more laws that criminals will ignore.
  23. While I understand there is a difference, I haven't noticed any practical difference between the two, I sometimes suspect there is none, just packaging.
  24. I picked what I thought was my last jalapenos, but I have flowers still and a few green tomatoes which may still have time to grow if this weather keeps up. I planted late, real late but still got a decent crop of peppers, the matters went to the squirrels as usual, hopefully the black walnuts will keep them busy so I can have this last batch.
