CCP virus has lost its fear value, so something new has to be brought in.

Anyone doing anything for the inflation that is coming?
Omega replied to 45guy's topic in Survival and Preparedness
I started hedging my bets against any possible inflation by getting into precious metals, mainly lead.- 73 replies

We all make our own bed, I know I've made mine, and no amount of fear mongering will convince me to take this vaccine. There is just too much bogus BS being shoved down our throats to make me believe they have our good interest in mind. With what this country has gone through, in the last couple of years nothing, absolutely nothing, will convince me that our current administration is on the up and up on this, and many other things.

Beautiful work, but I would be hesitant to take them out to the woods. Every wood stocked rifle I have owned has ended up with dings here and there, but they all have not come close to these.

I've been shot at, and once had a plate hit, but except for a minor eye injury, never had anything break the skin. Many a close call, two UXOs, that I know of, a ventilated Toyota and a few mortars that landed within my AO which only peppered my hooch but no, not been actually shot.

I wonder if they turned up the cycles on the PCR test again.

You and I both, but he was referring to the DC pukes I believe.

If you are just wanting something for tear gas, my advice is to get used to it and fight through it as trying to don a mask after exposure just lets anyone using the gas do their thing. If you don a mask before the gas, then you probably have time to avoid the area instead. I have M17 masks that the army refused to take from me because I was deployed to areas that had potential agents, they work good for their intended purpose but the filters are difficult to change out as they are not the canister type. But I have gotten used to riot gas, so wouldn't even don one for that, anything else, I may don one to get out of the contaminated area. But, gas masks only protect from some chemicals/agents, as oxygen needs to get in, anything smaller or the same size can get in. Most filters are activated charcoal, and normally only last a day or so before you have to change them out. If you don't have an area to seal up with it's own supply of oxygen, then the mask will only prolong the inevitable. If you are not familiar with methods to don/doff the mask after contamination then it doesn't look good for you. Bottom line is, if there is a deadly need for gas masks, you are toast, as any persistent agent will outlast the average persons supply of filters, and since the mask if only one piece of a protective measure you will not even know how far the contaminated area extends to. As to milsurp, I agree with those that say get something with current filter availability, but disagree with saying they are obsolete. Many M17 masks are still very good, just got replaced with a better design. Sure some may be deteriorated, but the majority of them are physically ok.

They finally released 2019 numbers, so I added each line of prior years and computated the difference in total deaths in TN., I wonder what 2020 will show?? https://www.tn.gov/health/health-program-areas/statistics/health-data/death-statistics.html

Not at home, but I own a little over 7 acres that I hunt on that has a perfect setup for my short range shooting. I plan on setting up a 100 yard target for zeroing my rifles, but since it has to be hilltop to hilltop I need to dig it down a bit for a good backstop. I buy the thicker targets, so I can shoot most anything at them, though I have a couple that are for handgun only. I started with the grouped targets, but have also got the T-post hangers to put them at different ranges most anywhere with a good backstop.

Tennessee 2A Sanctuary Passes in Senate
Omega replied to E4 No More's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Well, if you believe the socialists, just because it failed before is no reason not to try again. -
Must of once lived in CA, that is the only reason to use a stock like that.

Let them know what you think, EVERY gun owner needs to send a comment, whether you like/use braces or not, not like some did for the bump-stocks and side with the ATF. https://www.gunowners.org/action/?vvsrc=%2fcampaigns%2f86078%2frespond -
But we have plenty of data that says those less than 24 years of age have miniscule chance of dying from the CCP Virus, less than 800 deaths as of Feb 2021.

What got me was that he also ran over the kid, I guess offering him up as target practice wasn't enough.

I've used the pet bedding before and it worked ok, but wet tumbling is much better. I first started with one of the HF tumblers and a PVC pipe to tumble with pins, Dawn, and Lemishine. When the Frankfort Arsenal tumblers came on sale I got it and been using that ever since. I must say it is the cleanest my brass has been in a long time and though not entirely necessary, it makes it much easier to spot bad brass. Here is my process: Step one is to separate my brass and deprime it. It isn't completely necessary to deprime, but if you do, it cleans the primer pockets quite well. I tumble for about and hour with 5lbs of Pins, 1 TBS of Dawn and about 1/4 tsp Lemishine then dump most of the water and then the rest goes into the media separator. It take a bit of trial and error as to how fast to turn the handle, but I find if you go a bit slow most if not all of the pins come out. I have had had a couple get stuck in the necks of my 30/06 cases, (one was a 25/06 that was mixed in). So I got different media for bottleneck cases, the straight wall ones were never a problem. The smaller media is more aggressive so I tumble for 30 minutes with that one. I use a magnet to transfer the pins back into the tumbler, or a towel to dry if not doing another batch. I put the cases on an old towel and let air dry while the next batch is running. I pick up the towel by the corners and move the cases back and forth, it gets most of the water out and makes drying much faster. I usually have too many for the dehydrator, but that is an option for smaller batches. There is a big difference between ones dry tumbled and the wet, the dry is on the left and wet on the right, except for the middle cases are opposite. And even though I deburr and chamfer after forming my brass I still get a bunch of brass shavings in the tub. If you use a little carwax in the water, it leaves a bit of wax on the cases and the shine lasts much longer.

More than likely a low/no charge on the first one, or two, and the shooter didn't notice so kept firing.
