  1. So, we may now know who "Jump Kick Man" is, but now some serious question on how long Binger knew his identity. Rittenhouse Trial: Maurice Freeland Suspected of Being ‘Jump Kick Man’
  2. And we have subs that can launch from any ocean in the world, like they and Russia do, so it isn't as big a threat as they make it seem, but we should not have been blindsided by the fact that they had it, if our alphabet agencies would concentrate on our enemies instead of parents against CRT, and white supremacist Trump supporting terrorists, we could have been forewarned.
  3. My daughter bought a Hyundai hybrid, now the wife is in the market for one. The Hyundai comes with a great warranty, so should be ok, but I still prefer an all gas motor, so if/when I replace my Tacoma, it will be another Tacoma with all gas engine.
  4. A bit of a necro post but apparently it has come to pass, Troy Industries is in Clarksville, met one of the workers this weekend.
  5. I still feel he will be acquitted, very hard for it to be thought otherwise with all the video evidence., plus all the prosecutor's witnesses that seemed more like the defense witnesses.
  6. Come on, haven't you been paying attention after the Snowden release? They are in and out of all our electronics at will, and no damn agency will do anything about it. If you were to deliberately plan a crime, you would be more inclined to hide your presence online, and probably smart enough not to spout off about it. But we are talking everyday life, where you are minding your own business and something like this event takes place. You can't go back and undo your presence, heck you merely being here could be used against you, let alone any posts supporting 2A, Trump, or Freedom.
  7. I agree with most of the above, but I honestly don't keep buying manuals. At first, they are great as they step you through the process of reloading, but the load data does not change much, if at all. There are upteen official sites from bullet and powder manufacturers that you can always get updated load data. As far as supplies, they are out there, though the price is not pleasant. If this shortage issue continues, the market and entrepreneurs will find a way. Right now, there is an uptick on reloading primers, making your own black powder, and many are switching to PCP rifles to forgo all the primer, brass and powder issues.
  8. Are you on a VPN? Anyone here personally know you? I don't have a cyber masters degree, though my degrees are in IT, I can safely say that unless you use some great fieldcraft, they will find you straight away.
  9. I would rather it be me on trial, than someone walking away with no charges, or them standing trial for my murder.
  10. I don't see it that way at all, he is a regular teen, with teen tendencies. If someone decides that my t-shirt, sticker, sign, or flag deserve me getting assaulted, they had better be willing to suffer the consequences for such actions, up to and including deadly force.
  11. More of a matter of liability and insurance really.
  12. It is all the same caliber, regardless of the headstamp. Reman companies use whatever available brass they can get, which usually makes the ammo less than optimum due to some cases having less case capacity (thicker brass), but no real affect on plinking accuracy. Here are some of my .308 cases which have differing headstamps, making it seem as they're different calibers.
  13. All evidence so far supports the defense, even a layman can discern that. While I also feel he should not have testified, many legal talking heads seem to think it was necessary to prove his claim of self defense. As I stated, every video shows just cause for the use of deadly force, even the remaining criminal POS says he was worried about Kyles safety, a lie I am sure, but none-the-less he testified to that.
  14. Hate to hear of your illness, hope it works out for you. Nice deer, should be good eating. I have always said "I don't hunt for horns", which usually has me bringing does in. I will take a decent buck, no doubt, but I don't count points until he is down.
  15. I think it is done on purpose, if laws were easy to read, lawyers and judges would be less needed. Besides, laws are sometimes written by politicians (or special interest groups) with little to no concept of law.
  16. Nah, nobody rioting for those two dead guys.
  17. Bwahahaha - Couldn't have timed the news flash video better if I tried! - So is this topped???
  18. While I am inclined to agree, there are caveats which would not only have you ignoring these rules, but actively go against them. One is when you use sims, and another is when shooting (no pun intended) movies. But because you are ignoring these rules, you need to have a safety plan in place which will mitigate the danger of doing so. When I participated in some hostage rescue training, both as a hostage and a hostage taker, we were well briefed on the weapons and projectiles that would be hitting us (in the case of being a terrorist, and once as a hostage) and issued PPE to protect us from the sims. All weapons were checked, and double checked with no live ammo anywhere near the training areas because all weapons were real. In movies, there are scenes that would have you actively ignoring these rules as well, and as I hear and read more about this, there are safety rules that should keep everyone safe. But apparently these rules are not always followed, as we have in this case, the Lee case, and a few others I have read about.
  19. Not YouTube experts, seasoned actors. The other video was taken down, here is the same one, with extended clips. John Schneider explains many of the on set procedures, which I am sure are part of most, but apparently not all sets. I, at first, gave him the benefit of the the doubt, because frankly I did not know how things work on set. I was under the impression that the gun wrangler would be the last safety check, and that the actors would not be expected to know how to perform a rudimentary safety check on a weapon. But like John Schneider says in the video, safety briefings are conducted showing actors and other set personnel the weapons, real or not, are safe. And how to confirm that they still are when they get them.
  20. No shot, no mask, and not folding to the mandate. These decisions should be made by each individual based on their health or any other reason they see fit. I do wish there was more truthful information that could be trusted so an informed decision could be made, but unfortunately every single governmental alphabet agency has lost my trust in doing even that.
  21. I was under the same misunderstanding of procedures until I watched a few seasoned actors say that they, the actors, are supposed to check the weapon, and, if it includes pointing it at anyone, then that person also checks it.
  22. 21 years in the Army, retired then 17 as a Logistician, first running three military aviation units as their property manager (Supply guy), 1 year working for John Deere, then back to the same contract issuing flight gear, and now managing their fuel accounts. Come Dec 8, I guess I'll be retired again, but may just pickup a hobby job somewhere else for a company with less than 100 workers.
  23. Yup, the online and the paper one now have the three options. Wouldn't that be considered a lie if you chose one that doesn't match your genitalia ??
  24. I may be interested, what's the price?
