Has anybody had any luck deer hunting lately?
Omega replied to Quavodus's topic in Hunting and Fishing
Oh no, I don't process the deer for my friends, I drop them off at the processor after I field dress them. Hunter's Harvest here does a whole deer as summer sausage for about $150, and $1 a lb for cheese and jalapeno if you so desire. This year he paid $220 for fifteen 3lb logs, which he says is a good deal. I have quartered them before for a friend that does his own processing, but that is as far as I will go, too much work to do a whole deer for them. Me, I usually do a 15lb (5 logs), batch, but sometimes I will do two if I am comparing seasonings, cheeses etc. This year I have a whole bunch summer sausage logs left, so may either skip it or make it late in the season. -

Got lucky this year, two eight point bucks, one on opening rifle and one on the 15th. Both went to friends that don't hunt, now I am looking for a doe for me, and maybe another for one that went all summer sausage on the first one, if I get my doe. -
Vacuum sealing ammo in boxes for storage?

Yes, they seem to hold up well. -
I didn't follow the case, so like most here I had thought it was an open and shut case of murder, but the more comes out the more I think maybe we didn't get the entire story.

All good here, the damage was just north of us but a few trees down around us. One tree snapped right next door, but I didn't even get my trashcan knocked over, or lose any tarps. Up by my work, Ft Campbell, there is a bunch of damage, even snapped a few powerline poles up Hwy 117.

I would consider anyone keeping the information about a leak out of the china lab a traitor to their country. And the way he has prevented people from using medications that have proven to at least help, out of the hands of Americans a traitorous act.

The ones living in fear have probably taken the shot and are realizing they could still get sick.
-
Nope, I don't need any psychological help, why do they think we need our brains messed with because we don't want their crappy shot?

More mutations, less deadly, no?

Hmmm, they need help getting that lead out of the berms? -
Maybe Jussie Smollett is available to play the part.

I wouldn't involve an FFL, it is too close to a straw purchase if they intend to transfer it to you. It is permitted to gift someone a gun you get from an FFL, but many recommend you give a gift certificate or that the intended owner go do the paperwork.

Just another leftist "hero" peacefully demonstrating, nothing to see here.

No, as he hasn't paid them much if anything, his NFL pay is not touched, which is substantial enough to keep him solvent, and his notoriety and I dare say his popularity gets him into anywhere he wants. I don't think it was about the worth of the items, he is a just a narcissistic individual that wanted to get his stuff back no matter what.

WTF, how did you link the Nazi into this?
-
Admiring? Wouldn't go that far, but like I said, I do like gun companies moving out of anti 2A states.

I use a sled, and so far no issues, but I don't strap it down, it just rests on the sled, and after I'm zeroed, I confirm on a bag.

I'm of the same mind as the others, he needs to sue the hell out of the MSM for not only the blatant lies, but for the slander that is still going on even after the verdict. As news organizations it is their duty to find out the facts before they broadcast their stories. But instead of retractions, they are doubling down with the white supremacist bs, and some even throwing Trump into it. I wonder what happened to the phrase "allegedly" when accusing a person of a crime in a story when no conviction has happened, it seemed to have been missing quite often.
-
Yes, but it was while a candidate and in a public medium, so slander applies.

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery, thanks for letting us know.

Now imagine being told you had to be treated by a certain doctor, with that kind of track record, or lose your job

That would be ideal, but would have to be guarded here, or there wouldn't be any batteries left in the chargers (I know they are "locked" in). A better way would be for the roads to have the same charging systems built in that they use to charge phones wirelessly, so you are charging while driving. Long long time from now, it may be something that is feasible but no company is going to put out that kind of money here in the US, where scooters are not as popular, and car battery stations would take up a lot or room since more batteries would be required.

I already put in my prediction, but have to add, while the talking heads on any of the MSM sites are questionable, other sites have current lawyers with very interesting positions, mostly leaning towards an acquittal not only on the facts, but on prosecutorial misconduct. The low quality drone footage, which IMO was handed off late anyway, and now the fact that the identity of "Jump Kick Man" was known to the prosecutors, and of course the few things the judge himself admonished them for such as the right to remain silent, and excluded evidence.

Well, all that aside, I like more gun companies being moved away from anti-gun states, and if that brings them here, then it so much the better.
