  1. Bight your tongue, that B will not blot a spot on my TV let alone go see anything with her in it. There is a difference between being anti-gun or anti-war and actively working against them. As soon as she set foot in VN territory she was dead to me, and her "get over it" attitude hasn't helped her any. If enough people stop going to see certain actor's movies, the studios stop making movies with them in it. The rest of the trickle down people still get paid off of other movies, popcorn and such. I personally have stopped going to many movies, not so much because of the actors but because of hollywood's insistence of forcing social issues. I can't remember a recent movie, or cartoon for that matter, where one of the characters wasn't gay, transgender, or in an interracial relationship. I know these things exist in society, but don't need it shoved into every movie. I don't care when it adds something to the storyline, but when its just a gratuitous placement it just takes away from the movie as a whole to me. Oh, yea..forgot to add. just being fat is not funny. I don't know what it is about Hollywood, but they seem to think just being fat is a formula for a good comedy. Personally I can't stand movies or shows with Melissa McCarthy, while she throws a good line now and then, she just doesn't do it for me as an actress. And before anyone says it, I myself am overweight so its not a dislike for fat people, but some such as Kevin James have overplayed their roles.
  2. Available for a short time only, or until there is another lightning strike. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/30/world/europe/hardangervidda-norway-lightning-reindeer.html?_r=0
  3. Ok, yes I have one it has two trays but only one stem, though I don't recall it coming with two. Seems to operate smoothly so should be in good working order.
  4. Nice, pretty quite animals, had a a couple come in on me like that and I didn't hear a peep.
  5. Let me take a look, I may have one. You talking about this one right? Not sure of it's condition atm but if it still works you can have it for shipping cost, I just upgraded to the bench mounted Lee version. Worse case it may have the part that's worn on yours.
  6. I'd have him run his credit report and put a freeze on his credit until you figure out what's going on. And definitely report it to LEO, before they really do damage to his credit.
  7. Midsouth has had 231 in stock, as well as many others: https://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item/000342311/winchester-231-smokeless-powder-1-lb https://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item/000342318/winchester-231-smokeless-powder-8-lbs I live close enough to pick up so am well stocked in all the powders I need/want, and then I get a lb or two on top of that just in case.
  8. Dang, that does suck; but I got to ask; What's with the three oddballs?
  9. Check that the member is not banned, and that you are allowed to post in that forum. Though the later should not matter, I gave a like to an ad though I was a non-benefactor at the time. May have to PM David the name and link to the post to have him check it out if its not one of those.
  10. My sincere condolences.
  11. Report it to eBay, I am sure it is a seller that is doing it. Unfortunately that may mean you don't get this particular RV, but as you said, there are many out there and personally I would rather deal with someone who is honest about the sale. I just bought a 17' hybrid, and purchased it even though it had a few minor items wrong with it, but the buyer didn't seem to know about most of them. He did point out a few, and those are now fixed, but I still feel I got a good deal. When I sell something, I'll research it to make sure I am pricing it so nobody gets a raw deal, me or the buyer. I will tell the buyer all I know about my item up to and including anything wrong with it, price to fix it or a work around for it.
  12. Last thing I ordered was a Brownell's upper lapping tool. http://www.brownells.com/gunsmith-tools-supplies/rifle-tools/receiver-tools/ar-15-m16-upper-receiver-lapping-tool-prod20220.aspx
  13. What? I could of used this last year?? Share man, share. We need to have an area to discuss tools and applications for hunting and shooting. I downloaded a couple, well a few actually, timer apps to practice my drills but haven't had the chance to use them yet so don't know which if any will work for me.
  14. Well, shoot. Here I thought you were going to say the cop had no reason to pull him over since there was no victim. jk, this is actually my very thought exactly. The problem I have with this is not the gun part, that went smooth, (I didn't see the vid, just going of the posts) is the weaving in and out part. I always see these guys weaving through traffic barely leaving themselves any room in front and behind them. Most times they are in and out before I can react, but a couple times the car in front of me stopped suddenly making them slam their brakes thereby making me do the same. Luckily my reflexes have been quick enough, only been rear ended by a bike once, damn shame about his Harley, and I only lost a tailgate and bumper, no major injuries on either side. I had to stop because of a car pulling in front of me, the guy had lost some skin on his knuckles but his bike lost the forks and maybe bent the frame. He had no insurance (ticketed) but he squared me away with a used bumper and tailgate. I rode around with a blue tailgate on my white truck for years. Twice here a biker has wrecked in front of me here in TN, once for some reason he accelerated right into the rear end of an SUV (his fault) and once a vehicle pulled out in front of a biker (cars fault I think, but didn't see it) who then glanced off them and slid into oncoming traffic(bike only) hitting the vehicle in front of me. Towed that one home since it was a fellow NightStalker, he had to be sent to the hospital. Thing is, I see bikers in places they don't belong trying to go through traffic instead of with traffic. Nobody expects a bike to pass on the shoulder or to slide into a space a car can't occupy, heck some cars do too!, so while it may work for some, I know not all get away with it.
  15. I downloaded an app on my android phone which many of you may find a use for. Android Version Apple Itunes Version This app is free (need an account, free, to sync with pc, phone, tablet, etc), which surprises the heck out of me. It lets you do some of the following: Map out your hunting area (parcels identified by owner name), mark items such as your stand, feeders etc, mark food plots. Measure linear and areas, gives weather, shows elevation. Just too much to mention, I highly recommend it and I have only had it since last night! I included some screens hots. BTW, I am not connected to these folks, so forgive me if it sounds like I'm trying to sell it, I'm not, just sharing. My honey Hole Measure Linear Distance (with elevation profile) Area Calculations Weather Data Wind Data, shows where your scent will mainly carry.
  16. Oh, nobody I guess: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/may/10/marijuana-related-fatal-car-accidents-surge-washin/
  17. This thread reminds me of this cartoon: The argument here is NOT whether something should be illegal or not, it is whether this was a good shoot or not. Many, I included, think that some laws should be looked into, some are just not relative to their objective anymore. But they are the law; we can rebel and refuse to follow any law we choose but must accept the consequences of said action. Just like telling your wife that yes, that dress makes her butt look big, it may be the truth but you know there will be consequences. You can argue the point with her all week long, but that won't get you anywhere. Or as in this case, you can tell her that no, the dress doesn't make her butt look big, her big butt makes the dress look huge...yea, that is the extreme of what happened here. Instead of him laying down his weapon and arguing that a blunt should not be illegal, he refused and suffered the extreme circumstances of his decision.
  18. Yes, it came up now. Still a might slow, possibly because its getting all the past posts listed there but then again it may be the network here. Edit; Seems it coming up faster now, but when you click a link to a past post its slow there. It does that also from the Unread Content link. The index if redone is what is probably what is slowing it down, it may not be as optimized as before.
  19. For some time now, the profile link, from the avatar drop down, does not work.
  20. The other side of a bear encounter - twice! http://billingsgazette.com/news/state-and-regional/montana/survivor-of-grizzly-attack-tells-harrowing-tale/article_e13022c7-32e4-55d2-a8b8-30932ebd7fa2.html
  21. +1 on the youtube videos. I saved a few for a friend that wanted to learn how but never managed to come by when I had one down. PM your snail mail and I'll send you a disk with a few butchering videos.
  22. Well, if a couple guys on here have their way you can smoke something else.
  23. That's even easier, morally he should not of been smoking pot while armed, in control of a vehicle and then refusing to drop it when confronted about it.
  24. SMH, it is you that don't get it. The time to argue or protest a law is when it will actually have an affect. Whether pot now becomes legal or not will not bring him back to life. For the record, I think it should be legal; though I no longer have a need/want for it. After the fact, you can only argue whether everything was done according to the law, and in this case I believe it was.
  25. You can argue it all you want, until the law is changed there was indeed a law broken, and you are arguing the wrong point. The argument is whether the shoot was good or not, and with my limited knowledge of the situation I land on it being a good shoot. He should of just dropped the weapon when told to do so, then both of you could of argued whether pot should be illegal or not.
