  1. Had not heard about this, not surprised seeing as how the MSM picks and chooses what to make viral. Why haven't these people at least been fired? ATF's mysterious grenade smuggler case: new photos, documents turned over to Congress - CBS News
  2. Right, but the way it's going I fear we will see more of the trials you would enjoy vs the ones I would. Like I would love to see Hillary go on trial for her illegal activities, the ones they didn't pursue even though they said she broke the law, and maybe Hunter and co as well. But heck, who am I kidding, that will never happen.
  3. Hard rain a day before had everything soaked and the ground squishy. But got another one lit and kept it going even through a 3-hour rain, falling hard at one point. The briars make a great kindling, I managed to burn a huge pile of willow oak leaves, and 3 piles of the same tree's branches. I brought along some edger bricks so it wouldn't get away, but needed taller ones, think I'll just take a smokeless burn barrel next time, I have loads of willow oak branches I need to get rid of and the barrel burns hotter, so faster. A great time to try different methods to get a fire going, last one was just a bic, this one was an army fire starter kit like the one below.
  4. IMO they are exactly like the people they represent, look who put them in office in the first place.
  5. He, he, you can change your vote! It is currently most definitely now, in case anyone was wondering. I trust them, but not in the sense that they are always right, but in that they report more of what isn't being reported elsewhere. I do know the difference between their news and commentary segments though, so there is that. That's ok, they have the best lawyers I hear, they must know what they are doing. I too would like to see everything come out at trial and would like to have many more of these trials as well.
  6. They make very long bolts nowadays. Personally I would not bolt mine down, a simple cable or clamp around a seat frame will suffice because I never leave a gun in the truck/car for longer than I have to, and it will take them more time to find it and try and cut it away than it will for me to return to my vehicle. If I have to go somewhere unarmed, I would rather leave my good EDC firearms at home, I'll carry a Jennings or High-point then.
  7. You would be wrong. So, current events then; I wonder why they haven't asked to have an independent audit of the machines? Get answers to questions like why do they connect to the internet.? Seems to me if they are being sued for slander then they should be trying to prove they were right and discovery would allow the deposition of executives and technicians to see if what was reported was right or not.
  8. NAGR is legit, but can't say about the email as some use legit companies to scam people. Home - National Association for Gun Rights (nationalgunrights.org)

  10. I'm afraid we are at a point in our society where there is no "fixing" this, only minimizing the damage done in each instance. We have to realize that Freedom is dangerous, and the more freedom we want, the more dangerous it may become. I will not trade Freedom for Safety. As to guns, I for one will not abide with any more gun-control concessions, for the simple fact that pro-gun side are the only ones giving any. If they feel gun-free zones work, great, start with government offices and government officials. You think talking is better than armed security? Great, again start with the above. No, the fact that every attack stops when the good guys arrive with guns should be acknowledged and be made easier and faster to get to that point.
  11. Yea, not something to wrinkle my nose at, but wasn't overly fond of the taste, and I like fish. I don't know how they prepped it, but it wasn't a soup, just recall chunks of meat.
  12. The ATF is already being told about multiple weapons purchases: Reporting Multiple Firearms Sales | Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (atf.gov) There are so many gun laws already out there that there is no need for new ones. If they wanted to stop some of this, they just need to enforce the laws already in place. I don't like those either, but they are there and available for law enforcement to act upon.
  13. Have a guy here at work that would get a bunch of them. One day they cooked some here for the crew, it definitely didn't taste like chicken, more akin to fish with a meat texture to it, it wasn't bad, but nothing I would seek out either.
  14. Just another leftie that lost his shtuff: REVEALED: Suspected Kentucky bank shooter posted anti-Trump, pro-lockdown content on Reddit | The Post Millennial | thepostmillennial.com Don't see this lasting long in the news cycle after this reveal.
  15. I agree in that there is a number, but we flush way more down the green new deal toilet than what it would cost to place 10 SROs in each TN school from kindergarten to med school, hell, maybe even the entire US, that discussing the cost seems disingenuous at best. Many of the security systems and other safeguards we've discussed on this very thread can be implemented very quickly, including allowing qualified veterans the ability to volunteer their time at their local schools, we have a wide distribution of vets that finding one or more for each school shouldn't be a problem. This could be a temporary solution while more trained and licensed SROs are made available.
  16. In SERE school you have x minutes to boil water, rain or shine, wouldn't you know it, it was rain. Same a couple weekends ago, had to go do some chores on my new land, rained the morning of so everything was soaked but got it done, which was great because it went to 29 degrees that night.
  17. They took a hit initially, but many have short memories and would buy from the devil himself if the price was right. I personally haven't stepped foot in there since, not only because of the woke stance, but because I am not impressed with their prices, offerings or customer service. I am sure they don't miss me, and that's ok, I will spend my money elsewhere.
  18. Right, I just can't believe that they would pander to such a small percentage of the population when their customer base will leave in a much higher percentage. I really don't think they care how many they lose, it has been shown that many companies have taken a big hit when they go woke, so it isn't like they don't know how it will go. So, they either don't care or think way too much of themselves to believe they can pull it off when others couldn't.
  19. I knew some performers were anti-gun, but now it looks like the whole shebang is in on it. CMT Announces Partnership with Gun Control Group at Music Awards (breitbart.com)
  20. With friends like this: TN: LT. GOV. MCNALLY JOINS DEMOCRATS IN FAVOR OF RED FLAG LAW!
  21. We have, and have won major battles in the courts reinstated 2A rights across the country. If you are not supporting local and or national gun rights organisations then you may not be doing enough. We know, and deep down, they know, that taking guns from law abiding citizens isn't the answer. An armed society is a polite society, I firmly believe that, and data backs that up. But for the antis, it's not about safety, it's about control.
