I've heard people complain about that before... but I think it was mostly gen 1 LCPs and/or mags.   Mine is second gen, and I always load mine up with 7 rounds, even at the range for practice, and it works fine with all 3 of the mags I have.  I've shots around 30 rounds of Speer Gold Dot hollow points (what I normally carry in it) without ever a hiccup... but mostly I shoot reloads.  Many Tennessee Cartridge Co., as well as I have many many rounds from LAX Ammo since I got them at a very good deal with free shipping not long ago.  I have only had my LCP about 3 months, but I've put at least 1500 rounds through it as of now, and its eaten everything great.  If its jamming a lot, I'd probably have Ruger look at it.

If you want a good 3 inch revolver that doesn't cost too much...   Get a Ruger GP100 3Inch... Grabagun.com has them right now for $550 These are fantastic built-like-a-tank revolvers.

Its already illegal for a felon to own body armor...   Its already an extra Class E Felony to commit a crime while wearing body armor...   I don't get why it would need to be banned... banning it would only make criminals out of otherwise law-abiding citizens and give no benefit at all, as the criminals that wanted it would still get it.  Its not like its a grenade or missile... and it doesn't make you impervious to gun shots... just less likely to die from them.

I only have about 1 problem with my LCP every few hundred rounds.  I noticed if I didn't have the extension grip on the mag, the gun slid slightly enough in my hand it would cause a lot of jams.  I also noticed after I added a Hogue grip and could hold the tiny little gun much MUCH better, that its been a fantastic shooter.   I'd really recommend putting a Hogue grip on there and keeping the extension on the mags.  If its a Gen 1 LCP though... those have been much less reliable than the newer ones.

Seems anti-gun group MDA is having an event in Nashville tomorrow at the Tomato Art Fest Parade... wish I had the time to drive all the way over there, just to open carry and stand around where they are... maybe have some signs with....   "Everyone (even Moms) have a right to self defense" "Guns are used to save lives" "Disarming people will not protect them" "Gun Control is not about guns, its about control" "Assault and murder are impossible without a gun?" "I'm a victim of gun violence, its why I carry a gun to defend myself" "If you care for your children, be armed so you can defend them"   ... etc etc...   I wonder how many people will actually show up... I've heard a lot of their gathering end up with 5 or 6 people.

I don't know how people pocket carry a Shield.  I love my Shield 9mm, it shoots great, and I can carry it in a 3speed holster fine... but even on my overly large pants, I can barely stuff it in my pocket, and its hard to remove, and its pretty visible its a gun in the pocket.  The only thing I carry in my pocket is a LCP, which pretty much vanishes.

I have many sockets, and I couldn't find one that fit.... i just drilled mine out, buffed it up some with a dremel, then blued the metal I had exposed. Works great.

Sad to hear... I haven't actually ever gone there... I always go to Range USA.

Don't be surprised of lunatics online... your fiancee might have had nothing to do with it... not enough info here to go on.   I 'talked' (as in played a MMORPG with) some lady occasionally online (didn't even know it was a lady for most of the time) and even though we never talked personally, she somehow fell in love with me and started talking about leaving her husband and stuff... so yes, there are some crazy people out there.  Don't just assume she did something wrong... find out what really happened.  I can't think a guy who has threatened to come kill you is mentally stable anyways.
