I used the hammer method when I did my front sight... it was a major pain to get lined back up exactly right in the middle... next time I'll probably pay a smith to do it.

Mines still going great... If your more fond of the glock builds, and grip angle on the G36 might be more your liking... the shield is more just like a full size M&P made smaller, but with a better trigger and grip texture.

I sold my 9mm Shield to get a 45 Shield. Great choice... this 45 Shield is fantastic! Had to buy all new carry gear to make this my main carry though. Its slightly different enough to have issues with my 9mm holsters. Well worth it though, this is definitely becoming my primary carry gun. Nice size, feels great, shoots great... Hard part now is finding magazines. S&W aren't even selling magazines yet, you can only get them if you buy a gun...

    Christie is only a Republican because the Democrats have gone so far left.  Several years ago he'd be considered a normal Democrat and be running that way.   Christie also inherited the gun laws, and can only do so much about it... he isn't king.  He has vetoed several stricter gun control measures that came across his desk.   Also, Christie gave a pardon to the woman you are talking about.

I use the Crossbreed Superslide with combat cut... its fantastic, and at 4 o'clock holds in very close and easy to conceal.

I'd rather they fight to get a bill passed for proper classes and permits for first amendment rights too... I don't like a lot of what people have to say, and think some don't know much about their religions and all kinds of things that should be proven before they are allowed their rights.  It doesn't matter if its a right, we should limit it just to be on the safe side.

The tiny little ones (public defender) or polymer judges pack quite a kick.  The full size ones and the Governor are pretty nice shooting.   I'm not sure either of these are good for someone who hasn't at least tried it out though... they aren't for everyone.   Might be better off with a 38 or 357 if your looking for a handgun for someone who isn't really into guns much and will probably let is sit unused for years and still want it to work.   If you want to spend a lot of money... the S&W M&P R8 shoots awesome... hard to beat 8 rounds of 357 too.

There are 5.56 versions of AK 74s ... thats not standard and you may have difficulty with interchangeability of parts and magazines.

Why don't they make all signs on private property have force of law?  I'd really like to see someone get arrested and fined $500 for having a candy bar past a "No Food or Drink" sign.  If its good for one sign, why isn't it good for all signs?

yeah... I got a M&P 9 Pro a few weeks ago.  Its fantastic.  I also use the small grip, it fits my hand perfectly.  I put some TruGlo sights on it... yellow dots in the rear with green in the front.  Great sights.  I've also been thinking of looking at a 45... but they don't make a 5 inch barrel one, which I prefer.  Thats the main reason I got the Pro, just for the 5 inch barrel.   I got some Crossbreed SuperSlide and dual mag holder for it... its all so great I'm thinking of selling several of my other guns, not sure I need them anymore.
