I'm interested mainly because I've always liked Dylan McDermott and I dig the "less than polished" cop shows. Though I doubt anything will ever touch The Shield for me personally.

I'll go see it. I loved Borat, thought it was hilarious that nobody got pissed until A. the movie came out and B. It made them look like idiots. I'm not crazy about comedy that hurts people's feelings or anything, but putting someone in an awkward WTF??? moment is great to me. No offense to anyone here, because everyone has their own cup of tea, but I often think back about the Family Guy episode where the guy gets mad over something Peter said and his friend tells him there's nothing he can really do and the guy says "Oh. Well I guess I'll just have to get a sense of humor then."

ENOUGH WITH THE WEIRD EGG THINGS! This is thread is getting to on-topic...about weird stuff.

I actually bought one, thinking it was about the same size as my MAX Pygmy Falcon, for my wife. When we got it I realized it was a large, well built bag and tried to keep it for myself. Alas, she prevailed and kept it. Finally got mine in today. I have 3 day supply of food and water, canteen, rain gear, first-aid trauma kit, 100 ft 550 cord, folding shovel, flashlight, crank flashlight with radio, various odds and ends, plus my Henry Survival Rifle with both mags loaded, plus 100 rds of .22 ammo. Got to get a camelbak reservoir still to put in it. I love it!

I just wrote my Shelby County reps. One is a reserve officer and goes to church with my boss so hopefully he'll swing our way. The other guy I don't know anything about.

Just in case anyone out there is still looking into bags I built up my basic BOB in the new 5.11 RUSH 24 pack today and I'm amazed at all the crap I have in that thing with room left over.

I got into one of the biggest arguments last night and literally no longer talk to a friend of mine over this subject. Big part of that was because they decided to take a cheap shot at me because of my medical discharge from the Army. Anyway... I said I couldn't remember the last time CNN had wall-to-wall coverage of a medal of honor receipient and the response I got was "It is a matter of importance. What have they done for people for the last 40 years?" Suffice to say I was too stunned to carry on the debate. This is what is wrong with our country, idolization of celebrity over our true heroes.
