  1. Don't tempt me...
  2. Flying. I know I could fly with it, but I'm going to be awash in No Carry Zones down there and I don't want my Kimber chunking around the luggage turn. I'll just beat the **** out of anyone who messes with me, the mood I'm in.
  3. I'm leaving for Orlando in 8 hours. I'll be unarmed, around cats (allergic), around liberals, and in amusement parks. Only if I was on fire the whole time could this be a worse scenario for me.
  4. I like your thoughts, but I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday and he had a good idea. How about we do away with permits entirely? No laws restricting carry ANYWHERE. Instead of us, the law abiding citizens, having to prove we are OK, let's put an endorsement on the license/state ID and computer entry of every criminal who shouldn't have a gun. Then, when they get caught with a gun, we lock them up for 5 to 10 years automatic.
  5. Have to bench a Volkswagen for MPD TAC I hear.
  6. Actually I'd be willing to bet that might hold up. I certainly wouldn't carry past it.
  7. Stand off distance son!
  8. Looks like I'm gonna hit Joe's Crab Shack for bike night tonight with my club. Kinda cheating though since they are all PD lol
  9. Too high bro.
  10. Too bad we don't have people with sense here. Maybe I'll move to Dandridge lol
  11. I have a key safe...
  12. I would say a few passionate people actually care either way. The only people who really appear to be strongly against it are a few media loving lawyer whores and some local reps. I don't buy that "the majority" of people are against it. The majority is either uninformed by the liberal media, don't care, or just to dumb to even understand what's going on in the big scary world past the E! channel.
  13. Not if I have anything to say about it.
  14. Hospital coffee tasts like chalk mixed with quikrete.
  15. I just sent Huey's a fairly lengthy message. Doubt they'll read it.
  16. Shut your mouth heathen! That recipe was handed down from God himself! They are awesome.
  17. I didn't get to go out because of work, but I'm going out tonight. However, in the need to do SOMETHING, I open carried in a gas station. I bought gas, smokes, a bag of dill pickle chips, wished the clerk a good night, and left. I was literally amazed that my gun didn't hop out and take over the store or get taken away from me by a crazed thug.
  18. Yea we got screwed. I am glad I have state parks for when I go camping, but I'm still pissed that I can't carry in Shelby Farms. Not that I go there alot, but it still aggravates me for the people that do.
  19. This was my thinking as well.
  20. Yea I get that. I've met plenty of guys who just could not cut it and get on PD or even in the military so they become security guards and act like the police. I am lucky to work with mostly ex-cops and military where I work and we all "know our part" in the circle I guess. I work with LE on a day to day basis and I guess we have earned their respect for how we conduct ourselves as a department. It seems to be a hierarchy almost of security guards/officers where it kinda tops out at private owned/campus security guys and bottoms out with some of these contract companies. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and am not compensated poorly for it and have had quite alot of opportunities afforded me training wise that I would not have had this early in a police career. That being said I still have a desire to be a cop. Whether that be reserves, part-time, or full-time I don't know yet. I do know where my authority starts and stops though and I don't run around acting like something I'm not either. It's the same as saying you were a combat vet when you are not, it's disrespectful to the men and women who do the job.
