  1. I've been back in the gym for around a month and am just now starting to get a good routine and eating plan set up and going.
  2. She was probably just happy to deal with a legal gun in Memphis for a change. I take them off people all the time, so it's nice to find out a person has a permit.
  3. Several sites (like Ranger Joe's) and others will sell these types of kits. Check out this site might give you some ideas as well. EQUIPPED TO SURVIVE - Outdoors Gear, Survival Equipment Review & Survival Information
  4. And just so you know I'm mainly playing around none of this is directed at you. it's just a throwback to the thread that David tried to get everyone to get together and do SOMETHING, but nobody would agree or really muster and it just got watered down with BS. I have not eaten in any posted place and I have e-mailed or spoken with people at each establishment. I think we need to do something and the people that don't want to just need to sit back, shut up, and get out of our way.
  5. That's true. Army workout regimen did wonders for me, then I fell into a bag of chips and a case of beer for 6 months afterwards. BUH BYE ABS!
  6. It works pretty well for show muscles I've heard, not sure about overall strength and fitness. Usually if it's "quick" it's just to achieve one result. If you just want to look built it'll work.
  7. I'm actually an excellent speaker when speaking to a group of people that give a ****. That's what we in the motivational speaking business call "getting owned."
  8. If you guys organize more than 3-5 people around here to actually assert their rights let me know. David tried this and all he got was shafted for it.
  9. From what I've always been told from LEOs and different instructors, lawyers, etc was "intent to go armed" was basically knowingly carrying a prohibited weapon that was readily accessible. I've heard the "3 step rule" that basically says if it takes you 3 steps or less to load the gun and ready it to fire it could be intent to go armed. I'm also pretty much certain that, as it pertains to firearms, to be charged with intent to go armed the gun doesn't actually even have to be loaded. I guess that goes along with the how would the person on the receiving end know the gun isn't loaded argument. Don't know if this helps or confuses you more lol
  10. Challenge accepted. For starters it is true police officers are supposed to uphold the law, but I don't believe they are MORE likely than anyone else to break the law. The majority of people who go in to law enforcement do so out of a desire to prevent crime and maintain or help build their city/county's future. A select few may turn to corruption because, as human beings, we are prone to bad judgement and are fallible creatures. Now, to say that nothing good will EVER come out of ANY interaction with an LEO is asinine, irresponsible, prejudicial, and purely argumentative. Police officers can and do save lives. They also help put people that cause pain and suffering to others behind bars. So that last comment Hex made is completely without merit and simply an opinion of someone with obvious issues with authority. I could just as easily say that no person will ever have a good interaction with a permit holder based off of 99% of this forum's user's posts simply because of the nature in which we tend to argue and blow up at each other instead of having a civil debate. Maybe that is something everyone here should chew on for awhile considering the attention this forum has received the past few months.
  11. I'd say oh...right around here:
  12. I think everyone has a right to their opinion. I also think everyone should also agree that their opinion is nothing more and sometimes our opinions just make us look like *******s.
  13. I wrote him a letter on their site. That guy is pure win. Excellent interview.
  14. How many permit holders have dash cams? Humans as a whole are just as likely to break laws as anyone else. I agree that permit holders should be able to carry everywhere LEOs can. No it certainly doesn't it. The same goes for cable guys showing up late, rude customer service reps, lousy wait staff... No they aren't. It is nothing more than looking for what you want to find in it. Mass communication is everywhere now, it's simply the spread of information not an increase in incidents. You mean the common criminal correct? That is a BS statement if I ever heard one. I guess the millions of incidents where cops save lives that just don't make the nightly news are all bad incidents huh?
  15. You know this guy is a dick, but it amazes me how people can still come to the conclusion like you do above Hex. There are hundreds of thousands of cops in this country, there are a few bad ones in the group, just like their are idiot permit holders and gun owners. Some of them post on this forum. How many of you sit on here and advocate breaking the law, but then are so quick to judge the police for their actions? This guy deserves to be off the streets for certain, but quit trying to paint EVERY cop with a broad brush. They do a job most of you would never dream of doing nor have the balls to probably do. It doesn't make it right when they do things wrong and they are NOT above the law, but just because people have an issue with authority doesn't mean everyone who wears a uniform is a nazi.
  16. I don't know how much it costs to have beer cleaned out of a keyboard, but I'm gonna need a check cut for that amount. kthxbye That literally made me about choke laughing.
  17. I found it
  18. I made it!
  19. I got an LG VU because I didn't want to jump on the Iphone band wagon. Well now after 2 LG phones, several tech issues, and a phone that still doesn't work 100% correctly and doesn't do the things I need it to half as well or half as fast as the Iphone, I'll be buying a 3G as soon as I can. My wife got hers today and it is worth the hype, the cost, etc.
  20. Probably doesn't it, but I don't want to be the test case ESPECIALLY now. It all goes to intent for me. They post ANY sign, I'm not going in.
  21. Oh yea far too simplistic since it would work lol I agree with that. Any private owned property is fine, I don't have to go to that store/restaurant/etc. Yea I guess I'd like to see that changed most of all. Nationwide carry laws the exact same, but then you get into state's right, etc.
  22. I went by the one on Winchester today since Sport Clips is right next store. They have a printed out sheet taped up with the ghostbusters symbol and the EXACT wording. I looked at it, peeked inside and saw the hostess, pointed at it, shook my head, and walked away. Doubt she cared much.
