I certainly see your point. It's just astonishing to me to see so many people blatantly disregard facts. You have several countries that have enacted gun bans, like the liberals want to do here. How is that working for Canada,England,Australia, and now *sobs* Ireland? You have socialized healthcare in Europe and Canada. LOTS of people there aren't too happy about it. I understand taking good aspects of other cultures and societies and bringing them to ours, but we were built upon the ideals of a small government and now the American people are practically begging and pleading for MORE government to take care of them because *baby voice* it's just so hard. No they just said that if you are justified in using deadly force to protect yourself you are justified in using it to defend property. Basically it's so a DA couldn't say you killed a guy coming at you with a knife over him trying to steal your car.

Yea that's wrong. Your property is your property. Now I will say this, there are some differences in the Castle law about dwellings,curtilage,forced entry,etc that make you being in your front yard different than being in your own home, but you can carry your gun in your driveway without an HCP no problem. You are not "in public" until you are on "public" property. We can all agree our lawn is not public property. The law says you cannot threaten or use deadly force to effect a citizen's arrest. You may use reasonable force to do so and may only employ deadly force if it comes to that point that you would otherwise be justified. So an example would be if you pepper sprayed the guy and tackled him and held him for PD, that's reasonable force. Holding a gun on him is threatening deadly force which you cannot do over property.

It's not the loaded or unloaded mag, it's the loading and unloading. The spring being compacted really isn't any worse than it being an empty mag. It's the constant movement of the spring that weakens it. I'd say you could load a mag, put a round in the chamber, leave it sit a year, pick it up, take it to the range and fire the whole mag and not have a problem. I say this because I've done it.

I'll be honest bro, I haven't been that impressed with the Max backpacks as far as space/durability. It's either really durable, but too small or not that rigid but has alot of space. The 5.11 bag is much more bang for the buck. I'll let you check mine out one day and you'll see what I mean.

I always believed America was supposed to be different, we were supposed to stand out and be that shimmering hope on the horizon. So why is it that some people here just want to make us like everyone else? Why not move there? If England and Canada have no guns and socialized healthcare and it's just so great why not pack your crap and move? It makes no sense to me to stay in a place you obviously hate. This country was founded on specific ideals to allow us to be different, to be free, not status quo.

My wife and I have the 24 for Bug out bags and you'd be surprised how much you can fit in there. I have more than I really need in mine and can fit more. I think the 24 would be a good size for you, but if you just want the extra space go with the 72. They are sturdy and EXTREMELY well built. Can't say enough good things honestly.
