I'm gonna post that up on FB. Like Buzz87 I lost 2 friends to a drunk driver back in school and I have an absolute disdain for people that drink and drive. I have lost friends over how I react when people want to leave a party or something that I'm at when they are drunk. I mess with my sister-in-law sometimes when I'm playing like we are arguing. We'll sign (the little bit I can) then I'll shut my eyes and say "I can't hear you" she thinks it's funnier than hell lol She reads lips really well and she's only about 90% deaf so she can get by with her hearing aids as well. I love learning to sign. It's great at work when a hearing impaired patient comes in and I'm actually able to communicate with them some.

There is no gun registration in TN. PERIOD. As far as #3 goes there is nothing in the law that protects you from criminal/civil prosecution completely. There are 2 laws that you are thinking of. 39-17-1322 Defenses-A person shall not be charged with or convicted of a violation under this part if the person possessed, displayed or employed a handgun in justifiable self-defense or in justifiable defense of another during the commission of a crime in which that person or the other person defended was a victim. That is merely a defense. Doesn't say you can't be charged and prosecuted. and part of the "Castle Doctrine" law that went into effect states that you cannot be held liable in a civil suit if you are not found criminally liable and the court will award all reasonable attorney's fees, etc that you should incur if someone does bring a suit against you. You can always be charged and you can always be sued however.
