  1. Nice. I don't get the Harley cult. I'll stick with my Suzuki that runs and save 10 or 15 grand.
  2. Jax Teller style baby! lol 1911 in a shoulder rig. It conceals under my vest perfectly. This was actually a big concern for me for quite awhile because I ride with an LE MC that was just getting started up a few years ago and The Outlaws had issue with us wearing the TN bottom rocker so we all carried constantly in case they decided to start anything, among the many other reasons to just carry anyway. Not so much a problem anymore, but the shoulder rig is ideal for me. The gun was strapped in and tight under my arm. If I hit right I'm sure it would have broken a rib, but on body carry on a bike just comes with that risk.
  3. Reelfoot lake and Picwick lake! Shiloh is where my MC makes our bi-annual run. Beautiful ride and beautiful park.
  4. Reading it I wasn't sure if he was for or against until the Ramsey comment. It's true though that if they had just left it alone we'd have all been happy with "restaurant" carry, but mess with the bull and you get the horns so now I'll carry anywhere that's not posted if I'm not drinking!
  5. Let us know how it goes! Here's a piece of advice to and what I did when my g/f (now wife) was apprehensive about shooting. Load one round at a time and just let her do her thing. Make sure she's safe, but let her ENJOY it. Don't worry about marksmanship as long as she's not shooting unsafely. If she's hitting the target and enjoying it, just let her have a blast. The biggest reason women don't continue to shoot is when we get pushy or overzealous. I think mostly our hearts are in the right place, yours seems to be, but it can turn them off to it if you get pushy or "testy". .22 is a great starter. Just help her get in a comfortable stance and tell her to just SQUEEEEEZE that trigger. I hope you both have a blast! And if she has a good sense of humor you can always use this quote from Don Johnson
  6. I figured you had to jailbreak it. Any problems with jailbreaking? I'm not much of a techie. Don't want to brick my phone just to get a cool theme lol
  7. LOL it's Foursquare, but you don't have to link it to Facebook or even "check-in" but it is handy for letting you know what's around and what people say about that place. Like restaurants, etc.

  11. When I worked at a range/training school I must have heard the HCP class 500 times over 3 years. When the laws changed our instructors talked to alot of different lawyers and judges and most of our instructors were current LE. The general consensus was "force" could mean turning a knob, opening a window, etc. However if you're door was open and someone stepped inside, there was a possibility the "presumption" given in the CD might not be there. As for what Dave said about the civil immunity thing,it's not completely wrong, the law does basically say if you are not held criminally liable, you will not be held liable in a civil suit and whoever brings the suit will award you all fees, etc if/when they lose. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THEY CANNOT SUE YOU. They can sue you all day, it was built in to deter frivolous lawsuits. As much as this stuff has been discussed here I'm surprised some of the older members can't give clearer answers by now.
  12. Me agree. Me also say Bearman...Irish Pride!!
  13. I'm sure The Communist Appeal will have the story as soon as it's law.
  14. I could be 1 of 5 Then what would you guys do without me?
  15. Are you guys saying this is a slippery slope? That's what it seems like to me, a slippery slope that is. Slippery slope.

    Four Lions

Oh my God lol that's gonna be awesome. Reminds me of Snatch almost.
  17. It's video evidence there are a lot of stupid effing people out there. I wonder how many of those were drunk or texting/talking on cell phones. The bike ones are really hard to watch, except for the biker that ran the red light, he was an idiot.
  18. I'll pistol whip them off duty then!
  19. I swear to God I'll pistol whip the next guy that says shenanigans!
  20. SOA is truly something that is a breed of it's own, but I dig Justified. Timothy Olyphant brings kind of a quiet, cocky cool to what could be a very dull re-hashed character. I'm enjoying it, but it's definitely no SOA.
