This is purely a non-lawyer response, but from what I would think if he tried to attack you you would be justified. Courts have ruled that if you have AIDS and try to purposefully infect someone you can be charged with a crime. I think given the facts that he has threatened to kill you and your family, has a deadly disease, etc you would be justified in using deadly force. Trying to give someone Hep C would certainly fall under risk of serious bodily injury or death in my mind and since you have prior knowledge he has the disease it would only go towards your level of fear.

No because then you'd be charged with criminal trespass. Razorback just curious but how is offering your HCP when pulled over "incriminating yourself"? I understand the two schools of thought on informing, but you're not admitting to a crime. Some states actually require you inform. Arkansas being one actually.

Well here is what I'm dealing with as far as what it looks like. I'm not sure of the actual size of the deck, but it's fairly large. There are some parts that the original stain is gone completely, but I wanted to give a good idea of the color stain I'd be trying to cover or get rid of.

My deck is older so now the previous stain has worn off in spots so it looks kinda rough. So im gonna need to put some type of stain or color on it. I have been looking at Olympic so I may just use their products. Right now we've been running high 50s here in Memphis at night so if that holds for a few weeks I can get it done.

I'm going to, hopefully, stain my deck next weekend now that the weather is nicer and I was kinda looking for some help/tips on doing it. This is going to be my first major project on the new house. I'm using a dark stain and I was thinking about using the pump sprayer to do it, but other than that I'm kinda just winging it. Here's what I'm wondering: What types of deck wash are good? What's a good stain/sealer? Any tips or tricks to it that you'd like to share would be appreciated!

Just watched the 2nd episode this morning on DVR. I'm loving it. Nucky is a really interesting character and I like the way Steve Buscemi plays him.

Since I've carried my Kimber I've put around 2500-3000 rounds through it. I have about 6 mags, never have changed the spring. Unless you just shoot ALOT it's not something you need to worry about for awhile. I try to go to the range at least once a month and fire 100 rounds. I used to go alot more. I still do holster and dry fire drills at the house though when I'm not actively shooting. If all you can do is once a month and 50 rounds then go for it, but make sure you get the most out it. Proper sight alignment, trigger control, breathing, etc. Do different drills if you can. Don't just stand there and put 50 rounds in the paper and leave. That's fine sometimes, but if you're carrying you need to be training for that, as well as having fun. I have taken alot of classes in the past 5 years, worked with different instructors, and I always try to incorporate that into my range sessions. You could also look into IDPA.

Sometimes trying to fight fire with fire gets you burned. I think we've been burned by our own well intentioned efforts to support businesses that did not post. Looks like we just made a target list.

I'm building one this weekend. I live in a residential area, but I'm in the county and our ordinance permits it. Like others have said I think a fire pit is fine. Not much difference than a grill if you really think about it.
