Do it! That's all I can say lol I have a few friends that went in and a cousin that's still in. They all loved it and got something out of it. I was Army Guard and I'm not saying that each branch doesn't give you something to take away with you, but I think the Air Force has more options job wise that will translate back to the civilian world. It really depends on what YOU are looking to do.

My wife is a vegetarian, not a strict one, but she usually will only eat chicken if she eats meat. I grew up hunting, fishing, shooting, all the usual outdoors stuff. She doesn't mind and we are both HUGE animal lovers, but there is a difference between a pet and a meal. I am not a trophy hunter. I do not see the point of killing something simply to mount it. I was raised and taught that you ate what you killed if you were hunting. That is how I have always been and that is what I will teach my children. I'm not against anyone who doesn't hunt or doesn't eat meat as long as they don't try to tell me I can't. If it weren't for hunters we would have some serious overpopulation problems. So I always ask people this...what's worse, a deer in the stomach of a family or a deer through the windshield of a family's vehicle? Just something to ponder.

I'm in a bad mood. Really rotten, as a matter of fact.

Jamie you can contact Facebook through the site and explain what is going on. That violates their terms of use I believe and they will shut down his account. Sorry you're having to go through this man. -
Hmm, I just would have always thought "my property, your bad", but I guess yea if some kids playing, jump your fence and get mauled it's not really like they were there to rob you. When I went for jury duty last year I had the chance to be on a dog bite case and I didn't get selected. Kinda would have been interesting to be on now in this context lol I think I always kinda figured if you could prove someone was trying to intentionally get the dog to bite (for lawsuit purposes) you might be in a better position to at least win the case, but I don't know how many cases you'd actually see like that.

Dude seriously? I'm not saying he may not eventually have to put her down, but damn that's pretty uncalled for.
-
How's that? If she was trespassing and provoking the dog I'd think it'd be on her dumb ass.

I would suggest going to Petco or Petsmart and inquiring about training. They may be able to help. If you don't already have a vet pm me and I'll give you the info to my vet. She's in Olive Branch, but trust me, I moved from south of Germantown to North Bartlett and still drive there to take my dogs to her.

Eyeman pretty much sums it up. Holsters are alot like trading cards. You keep the ones you like out and the others get sold, traded, or end up in a shoebox. Just gotta find what works best for you. There are many, many options. Personally, I like an OWB leather holster. Remember that a holster is only good as the belt holding it.

Man that sucks. I had a German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix named Cheyenne that I loved. She was a great dog except she liked to chew and was FIERCELY protective over only my Mom, my little chihuahua, and myself. If a friend acted like he was gonna hit me play fighting, she'd growl. If kids got in the yard she'd growl. Never mean unless someone messed with her or us. Otherwise she was great. Ended up giving her away to some friends on some land though, we just felt she didn't have enough room to run around our little house and yard.

I was gonna say bring me back a hooker lol

You know how in Cujo they try to get out of the car and he barrels up on the door and claws at it, etc? That was going to my friend's house if the dog wasn't put up.

Does your pit know that it's a vicious killer or didn't it get the memo?

Like Willis68 said, this is definitely a great "grass-roots" charity and it's really good to know that we are helping people in our own community. One thing about TGO (and yea my thread was but one example) there are some damn good people here. I am good friends with several Memphis members and have forged very good "long distance" friendships, if you will, with other members. We can all get spirited in a debate, and I think there are a few general straight up a$$holes here (some may think I'm one), but the majority are good, caring people and if they need a little help I'm proud to be there for them, because I know they'd be there for me.

Personally I'm a hound guy, but I've owned a few different breeds over the years and I've had several different friends with pit bulls. hands down the 2 most vicious dogs I've ever encountered were my friend's chow and my own chihuahua that I had since I was 7. That dog lived to be 18 years old I kid you not. He wasn't a "bad dog", but he liked to bite at you if you screwed with him and by that I mean "got near him when he wasn't in the mood" lol Now I have a mini-dachshund and a basset hound. My neighbor down the street has a pit. He's as goofy and lovable as my Basset.

Well I'm late to the party, but here's mine (after and before light and foregrip) finally outfitted almost all the way. Still deciding on an optic.

I honestly don't know where they get it. That has been debunked so many times and I KNOW it's not being taught to them. Where they older or younger officers? Reason I ask is because alot of officers that have been on for alot of years seem to think that about hollow points for some reason in my experiences.

Site says 1000+ on the M4 with the AA. It's what I'm probably getting myself.

This has turned into a carnival game lol -
Man I loved Blair Witch on so many levels. I think probably because when it came out I was in theater and doing alot of amateur film making stuff and that was a great example of how to hype your film. I wonder how many here have ever seen Bad Moon? It was a made for tv werewolf flick based on a book but its one of my favorites. Awesome werewolf effects too.

His own Mother testified against him. That should tell you all you need to know right there.
