If you are near Memphis my range Range Usa has the XD 40 service model for rent. I've had my XD9 sub for almost a year and with at least 2000 rounds through it, it still performs great. I've never had one malfunction.

www.packing.org and www.handgunlaw.us as well

No. The permit in TN allows you to carry openly or concealed. It is as simple as you can either carry in a place legally or not at all. There is no distinction on open or concealed.

Not a big Para guy. Don't like the fact they are a Canadian company and Canadians can't own their own firearms. Canada just imports their "crime" here. If you're happy with it though, good stuff. I just haven't seen many of them that are reliable.

I hate to say it, but I honestly would not shed a tear if Mr. Trejbal was the victim of an unfortunate accident. it's one thing to disagree with something. It's another to put people in danger because of your views.

1.It's my right to do so. 2. I don't rely on others to take care of me. No matter how many good cops are out there and how good their intentions are, they won't always be there when I need them.

Good news in alot of ways though. Hope they all pass!

This is where we fight? Confiscation topic.

You know I've thought about this alot, especially when I was in the Army and facing deployment to Iraq. I know that i don't want to die. I know that I wouldn't lay down and die. I also know there are things worse than death. To give up freedom and bow to a tyrannous rule is something that is worse than death for me. Death is a path we all must take. I don't wanna rush down the path, but I will not crawl towards it on my knees either. -

You know I posted this and half thought it would be anarchy 6 posts in, but what a lively, intelligent discussion it has become! Good to see the TGO group is unlike some of those OTHER forums. I agree with Len heavily. Education is the key. Now is the time for books and words. Now is the time for guidance and intelligence. Hopefully we will never reach a time where that is lost and it is once again time for sword and shield. (Figuratively speaking of course.) -
Out Of State Rifle Purchases in Tennessee
Punisher84 replied to Marswolf's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
You can do long guns out of state with certain restrictions, but handguns are in-state only. Unless they are transferred through an FFL. -

As a younger man who has served in the military, I feel strongly about things like honor, duty, loyalty, courage, sacrifice, and freedom. I want to see America stand for something more than I feel it does right now. I feel America is still the best country in the world, but look at our government and the things they do to us, their own people. I wish for better times. -

First let me say this, I don't wish for this thread to become a tin foil hat, the government is out to get us type of discussion, but I do wish to discuss something. I've always thought about it, ever increasingly lately, but after watching 300 yesterday a thought came to me. How many of us would stand and fight? If the government actually said we are confiscating your firearms and taking a right away from you, how many gun owners would stand against the military and police? Would we line up and scream COME AND TAKE THEM as loud as we could? Would we fight until we won or had all died fighting? It may never happen, especially not in our lifetime, but that's not to say it can't. I don't mean for everyone to come out saying I'd fight or YEA I'D KILL EM ALL! I just wonder how many gun owners think about these things. What does Molon Labe mean to you? -
Pay attention to the instructor and don't go in with any pre-conceived notions. Ask questions!

Just got back from seeing it. I am in awe. It was fantastic. The underlying theme and story is definitely a great thing. I hope more people realize it is more than another war movie.

SB1597 Bredesen supports "Emergency Gun Confiscations"

I don't think there's much he can do anyway. The laws changed after Katrina, but that doesn't mean they won't TRY again. If New Madrid II hits they'll have more problems on their hands than people with guns. Sent him a nice little email. -
Call the Sheriff's office and hit up the planning committees. This is stuff we need to discuss when we all get together.

It's been on TheFiringLine as well. I think, legal or not, it's a good case for a lawsuit and a possible law change. That article has potentially put alot of people at risk. I'd love to see that twirp get his come-uppance.

I had a chinese fan once that looked like her.

Jackdog, I took the Molon Labe greek lettering and punisher skull off the internet and photoshopped it together. I'll post a pic when I get it done in a few weeks.

Lol! Thanks for the support guys!

I had an idea earlier I wanted to run by everyone. Some Saturday or Sunday in April let's get together at GlockingTn's dad's House (provided that's ok with you and him) and do some shooting and discussing about the TGO group thing. I've pm'ed Tungsten and asked him permission to use the name and what his thoughts are on all of it and I'm waiting to hear back from him. If he says it's a go what do you guys say about getting something going? Start it as a gun club with political aspirations and then eventually get into things a bit. i know there are groups already out there, but one more pro-gun group can't hurt anything. I say we keep it simple, but let's get together have some fun and see where we all stand on some basic issues and go from there. Whadda ya say?

Well I've been wanting another tattoo for awhile and I have rules about tattoos so I keep them limited. The rules are simple, it must mean something to me very deeply. It just be something that i will not regret when my arms are no longer as muscular and my grandkids ask why grandpa has that. I want it to tell a story and for that story to mean something. That being said here is my idea and why... The Punisher skull has alot of meaning to me as it is a character I identify with on great levels. The drive for justice, the hatred of crime, the protector of innocents. I always loved those values, even though he was a "vigilante". Of course, Molon Labe. The Spartan battle cry, the roar of a group of warriors who in two words proclaimed we will fight to the death and you will never take our freedom from us. All of you can imagine why this is important to a gun owner, and old Army man. So what do you boys and girls think?

Might have to get something planned then.
