Yea people love it when you tell them what to buy. If a customer asks for your opinion give it to them honestly, but you don't tell someone their potential purchase is a bad idea just because it's not what you like for yourself.

Well I decided today I wanted to go a different route and get something other than just a basic Kimber so i got this...

Let me say this first, I've never used one or have known anyone that has, but based on theory I'd personally say they are a bad idea. The idea is intriguing definitely, but I'm not sure if it's really safe. I prefer something that covers the trigger. The only exception to this is my Bianchi black widow, but it has a retention strap over the hammer.

From what I have gleaned from Instructors, law enforcement, and school authorities if you are picking your child up from school and are just going to be in your vehicle then there is no problem. I'm not sure about leaving it locked up and left in the vehicle while on school grounds, that does seem to be legal though.

Phantom, Appreciate the input! I've worn heavy armor before in the army so I'm used to the restrictive movement that comes with the gear. The only reason I took an unarmed position is because of the area, job, and pay. It was all a bit to good to pass up. I still wanna be ready for that 1 in a million chance though. At least without being all "mall-ninjaed" out. We will also probably be going armed in less than a year. I have quite a few 5.11 and under armour shirts like you are referring to as well. I guess I'll see if we can order some in at the range or if one of the instructors has an extra vest.

Hey guys I need some advice. I figure self-defense is about as close on the topic as I could get so I'll put this here. I just got a full-time job as a security guard on dayshift. The area I'll be working in isn't very bad, but I will be unarmed and there is always a chance as we all know. So here's my question, if my employer doesn't provide me one, where could I buy a good bulletproof vest? I believe the company is going to go armed in the next year, but as of right now they are not and I'd like to have at least something to even the odds a bit.

I would love to see punishment fit the crime in this case. they all deserve to be tortured, shot, hung, several other horrible things I won't even venture to go into here. It's amazing Don Imus calling some lousy basketball players "nappy headed hos" is worthy of national attention and the "reverend" sharpton and Jesse "love to see him drug behind a car" jackson can spew their racist propaganda, but these two kids( kids, hell they were my age) are brutally raped,tortured, and murdered and no one screams for them. Where is the outrage? Where is the call for the death penalty?! You wanna talk about racism?! I'm gonna let this go before I go straight the hell off.
