I have to somewhat agree. Dave, I get what your saying and I have used that discretion on things before, albeit in a security role, but there were still times where I let someone go as opposed to arresting them,etc. I have always been a by the book kinda guy and I suppose once I get my shield and run the streets for a few years we'll see how that holds up and where I stand.

I don't agree with the "they must be a criminal" theory, but I am a paperwork kinda guy. That comes from getting burned on one used car sale, and when someone else tried to burn me on another deal. I have no hard feelings either, if you don't want to fill out the form no big deal. I'll keep my gun and my peace of mind. Went to the doctor today and they had to work on my index finger. Left it a little sore. He goes "You can shoot left handed right? Because you're trigger finger is gonna be sore for a day or two." I like my doc
