  1. I sense he's gonna be stout from all those push-ups if he makes it out of boot.
  2. Someone has never been to England...or Australia.
  3. Bet he has it from now on. See this is why when I do go out drinking I go with a large group. Plus my only friends are cops and combat vets so I don't exactly feel unsafe. This is definitely a disparity of force case though. He would have easily been justified firing in that situation. I fear for his life watching that tape, I know I sure as hell would be afraid if they were kicking me in my damn head.
  4. I don't think that kid knows what the hell he's talking about. Thank God the Corps is gonna think for him, looks like he might need it lol
  5. I gotta agree. I've always said depending on how fast the virus spread and what happened you could probably still find some good stuff at wal-mart, kroger, target, Dick's, Bass Pro, etc. I would think if the virus was rapidly spreading and the government said "Come here, you'll be safe" most people would go, so scavenging for alot of things wouldn't start until much later outside of urban environments. I like the show, but mainly just for the human element as opposed to the "F YEAH ZOMBIE KILLING MACHINE GUN TIME!" lol
  6. I'd give them the "Rooster Cogburn". Shoot one then see who loved themselves or their families enough to scatter. Anyone else catches a round.

Too late. Whole thread is a duplicate anyway.
  8. Yea you really evaded that question. I wouldn't want a Garand in Afghanistan and I'm not a black plastic wonder or "nutjobfancy" fan.
  9. I go by how many I've seen have issues. I don't think M&Ps are complete crap, but I'd buy several other guns before I'd buy one. Keep in mind the general distaste for Kimber on here and yet I carry one that has been flawless for about 2000 rounds. It's all personal experience.
  10. Lol David come on man. M&P's aren't good enough to get that much love. I saw several break in just 3 years at a range. And we all look favorably upon people who agree with us. Is the 1911 the best for our troops? Hard to say really. I know I carry a 1911 because I shoot well with it and it conceals well. Now open carry in a combat situation...I could dig a Glock 22.
  11. Yea, kinda missed the point there Jay. And I'm not sure, but I would think if you used "I can't see ****" as an excuse for missing a sign, you might be sans HCP rather quickly.
  12. Kinda reminds me of "The Town" when the manager is stalling with the safe and Ben Affleck says "It's not your money. It's the bank's money." There are many situations in which I would shoot, this would not be one of those.
  13. Hope it works out for you man. It's never easy walking away from a relationship, but make sure you look out for yourself first. No sense getting married with ANY doubts. Here is what I would also suggest. LOCK your crap down. Never leave your phone unattended, never leave any social media or e-mail up, and if she knows any of your passwords, change them. On the flip side, don't hide anything if you have nothing to hide. If she's truly suspicious and can;t get access to your stuff, it will eventually drive her nuts, she'll spaz, and you'll have your answer.
  14. Fair enough. If he hasn't given her the ultimatum, and IMO that's what it needs to be, then they do need to have that talk. I just don't see it going away. Something is driving her to be that suspicious. Assuming Kegger isn't bopping the ex or something, it definitely seems like she has her own doubts. BTW what's up with "Chuckles"? That actually gave me a genuine laugh.
  15. I get that. My thing is trust. Call it "being blissfully ignorant", but I deal with people who lie every night. I've gotten pretty good at detecting it. I don't need to snoop and I don't. If my wife goes out and bangs the neighborhood while I'm at work, so be it. I'll find out eventually, but I'm not going to waste my time digging through her personal stuff just because I have an insecurity about what MIGHT happen. I've got more important things to do. Aside from my own personal experience with this, I had a friend whose girlfriend left him because he had "too many female friends". Didn't matter that the guy worked two jobs and was pretty much always with her in his downtime, she swore he was cheating. I firmly believe he's better off.
  16. I guess you missed where he said he'd already talked to her several times and she continues to do it? I guess she can also see into the future since her behavior started before he ever posted this thread? Seriously man?
  17. Said like a man who has never had a jealous, snooping significant other. I'm sorry, but you have got to be kidding me with this... That is a beyond ridiculous analogy. She's obviously insecure and nosy, not a sociopath with no emotions. If she likes snooping so much maybe she should go to the police academy and search vehicles until her heart is content. Here's the issue, if my wife had come to me and said "Hey I know I'm being silly, but you've been acting weird lately, is something up?" Not only would we have talked about it, but I'd have gladly offered proof on spot. "Check my phone, check my Facebook, etc" wouldn't have bothered me. When someone is going through your stuff, that's an issue.

Are you Nutnfancy? Lighten up Francis. The shotgun looks badass. That is well covered in the other thread.
  19. Prosecutor who just graduated law school asks: "Then how did you pass the written exam and shooting qualification portion of your HCP test?"
  20. A state issued ID card will work. I can't link the info right now,I'm on my phone, but I worked at a gun store for 3 years. A valid picture ID will work. I'm slightly curious why a 16 year old would ask though.
  21. I'd tell you the way I did it, but it would be of 0 help lol. My wife's friend's sister works as a pastry chef at Disney World. We stayed with them and hit Magic Kingdom and Epcot for free. Only thing I paid for was food and then a 2 day Sea World and Busch Gardens pass. And plane tickets down. Pretty cool trip, but we did it WAY too fast. Take your time and give yourself time to enjoy it. We rushed and honestly I barely even enjoyed Magic Kingdom because everyone was miserable and fighting. Bush Gardens though, that was fun! I drank my way through that park and had a blast.
