  1. I look at Les as more of the extremist and Bear as the entertainer, but I think both have useful information. I think what appeals to me about doing it is the same as firearms training. Doing it in a situation where I know I'm not going to die if I screw up, but practicing like it's real.
  2. She offends me. I want her banned.
  3. Nice. Friggin' NICE.
  4. Congratulations. I damn near choked on my dinner. Can't you put a warning on your posts when you're gonna be funny?!
  5. Jerk. LOL
  6. Sweet. I wanna shoot it!
  7. Just a thought I had, but it seems we all like to prepare and there are some good collective brains on here. How many of you have ever done any type of survival camping? My thoughts are 3-5 days in a wilderness area with only small amounts of water and food and only a handful of items with you. Obviously you would have safety measures in place, but still get a taste for making the best out of a situation. Anybody done this, thought of doing this?
  8. HAHAHAHA! Sweet.
  9. YEA?! That being said, I think Sam Adams would have a Sam Adams, spit it out, grab a Coors Light and smack a Senator. Why? Because Liberty is always a good decision!
  10. This is why I rarely buy stuff online. I want someone I know and trust to get my business and I also want them to look me in the eye and tell me prices have gone up.
  11. You have the statistics of a Democrat!
  12. What if he just waits until his second term? Why not just vote for a candidate you KNOW supports your rights?
  13. The Fish case bothered me. There were alot of facts the jury didn't see. The fact that the "Victim" had a violent history and was actually armed with a screwdriver at the time (Yes I know Fish never saw it) give me pause. This guy was alone in the woods and had dogs running up to attack him and then a mad man threatening to kill him come charging at him and refused to stop at the sight of a firearm. It sounded like Threat of Serious Bodily Injury or Death to me.
  14. That looks SWEEEET!
  15. Basically what Fallguy said, but I'll add this. It is a defense to carrying a firearm if you have...a permit! There are also certain times where you can carry a longer knife like hunting or fishing. It basically means it's illegal to carry those things in general, but there are exemptions. I can carry my ASP baton to and from work, but not around on me while doing errands.
  16. That is damn good advice. I went to change my brakes out a few months ago after I had just had some new tires put on. Well the brain trust at Wal-Mart had (over time) stripped the lug-nuts and studs. So when I went to put the tire back on...SNAP, SNAP, SNAP! Broke 3 studs. Had to go buy new studs, new lug nuts, and it cost me the rest of my day. Air ratchets are the devil.
  17. Aww man. I want a big kitty!
  18. I loved the Tom Jane version. I'm a big fan of the comics and graphic novels and I like the look of Ray Stevenson, but the movie looks cheesy and poorly acted.
  19. Here's the deal. Just about every Instructor, Sheriff's Deputy, Police Officer (Full-time and Reserve) that I know hate them. They are not official ID, they are not issued to you, and they could very well get you charged with impersonating an officer. I'd leave it at the house, or better yet, throw it away. Think of it this way, you get involved in a shooting, during the investigation an Officer discovers that badge. As I said, most cops hate them, even the ones that like permit holders in general hate those badges. So now this investigating officer might look at you different, you're a civilian with a cop complex. You wanted a badge to feel powerful and now you shot this guy.... I think you can see my point. Those badges serve no purpose other than to give the illusion you are something you are not to those that would see your gun. I'm sorry if it offends and I've tried to answer your question politely so please don't take offense because I've said this before and it's a general statement...If you want to carry a badge go get a job where you earn it and it's issued to you.
  20. Now that is a good analogy
  21. We make them shoot at 45, but that's the farthest and it's only 12 rounds out of 50. It's an easy class, 98% pass and if you can't pass you DEFINITELY need to either get some training or do not need anything more dangerous than a plastic fork.
  22. Looks like a Mako...
  23. LOL that's silly. I like it.
