I hear ya brother. I managed a bookstore between high school and the Army and had alot of time to read and I picked up Watchmen, Sin City, and V for Vendetta. For grown up comics there is alot of things that make you think if you read a little more than just the bubbles if you catch my drift. Tower are you familiar with Watchmen? It's a graphic novel about a group of superheroes that watch over everyone, but the public starts to hate them. Anyway, there is a good line in the graphic novel where one of the characters says "The world will look up and shout "Save us!" and I'll whisper "No." Thought that fit you.

I've been keeping an eye on this since Ashley was murdered. I didn't know her personally, but knew several people that did. The whole thing just sucked. I wish he had gotten 1st degree, but I agree that 2nd, in this case, is pretty reasonable. I thought the releasing of the info that she sent her lover sexual texts was a bit much for the public. So what if she sent dude a picture of her pleasuring herself with a sex toy? A LOT of people are guilty of that and worse in this day and age. I think "She sent text messages sexual in nature." would have sufficed.

Nothing like "I can't make a valid argument so I'll just call you all names and then run away."

I knocked the bloody hell out of my instructor during training. He put the red man on and he stepped right as I swung and it went right between the two pads and hit his upper leg. Good hit, but he was bruised pretty good.

I might be a little more prone to view it as an overall since I live in Memphis and I'm the minority. It still has to do with race, because ultimately I think alot of white people voted out of white guilt.
