This is how I always figured it to be. I think they can restrict like crazy and ALOT of people will turn them in, but a door-to-door search gestapo style would start a civil war.

If the UN guys are all they are sending out I'm really not worried.

I've thought about putting a bit more on the cards myself, but like Patrick I've got a decent cache right now. I will buy more mags and ammo, but that is something that can come out of the regular paycheck money.

I think it's a to each their own kinda thing, but literally the only reason I don't personally OC is to have an advantage and a choice to deploy or not. I think OC is great and I think we should all fight to retain the right. It's just like 44M doesn't see the need for "assault weapons", if you don't support OC you're not part of the solution. As gunowners we have to stand together even if the other person's choice isn't something we choose to exercise ourselves. Not being heavy handed, but just because one person chooses OC over CC or vice versa it does not make one party better than the other.

Yea my superiors are really good guys. I don't give them many issues either so they don't mind if they have to do a little extra for me. What sucks is I'm the Training Officer so I get to go back and say "OK here's what not to do!" Gave a little more lol He'll remember me for awhile You can catch HIV through and bodily fluid, but it'd be pretty rare to catch it just from being peed on. That being said someone with HIV is the last person you want to go hands on with. Taser or spray is gonna be your best friend in a situation like that. He probably wasn't much of serious threat, but obviously you gotta stop that sort of uh...behavior lol

Thanks bro! I don't mind taking the abuse. If it hadn't of been me it would have been one of the nurses that got hurt. It's my job to make sure they leave the way they came to work. If I take a few lumps, but we all get to go home it's a good day. It really does go to show though that you can NEVER underestimate or predict what someone is gonna do.

Welcome! I love this site and the people here. We have our arguments now and again, but I've yet to have an issue with a long standing member here that wasn't resolved shortly there after. It's like a family. We love each other, but sometimes Cousin Ed needs to be put in his place for spending Grandma's will money at the dog track. Or something funny like that...

I think you see alot of the complaining because it's always the negative that comes out primarily. You always see the hot coffee lawsuits, the "he was such a good boy and didn't deserve to get shot" lawsuits, but not alot of people talk about their legitimate lawsuits. I don't think we forget the system can be used for good and legitimate purposes, but there are alot of flaws and a good majority ARE in civil law. Just my take anyway.
