  1. I feel ya man. It's 19 yo's like Jeep that makes me go well heck why not! Let him be able to carry. It's alot of the others that wig me out. That being said there are PLENTY of folks that are me and JeepMonkey's age combined that don't need a pointy stick. Word.
  2. Your standard calibers sell for 12-14 bucks for 50 rounds of reloads. They have 250 and 500 bulk packs as well. They drop a buck off per 50 rds for 250 and 2 bucks off per 50 for 500.
  3. Magic, Todd, and Joe thanks for the help! I'll probably give Mike a shout once I know a bit more about what we are looking for. All I really know right now is my employer is wanting to look at several options for mass crowd control. At least to the degree that our teams can be self reliant until we get outside assistance in any case of a Mass Casualty event. It's pretty out of the box and renegade as far as what I actually do goes, but it's really exciting for all of us considering we are just in the private security field and there is talking of amping us to something more. Again thank you for the replies!
  4. Robot Chicken...always a good decision!
  5. Cool. I don't know about 37mm, just saw something that said 37/40 launcher when I was looking up less lethal stuff from ALS.
  6. That would make me smile. I really have no need or have ever had a desire for one, but I think it'd piss Obama off. So now I want one.
  7. LOL you must hang out by where I work.
  8. Thank ya. I was a bit irate this A.M lol
  9. I had no clue where to put this so this should work. I'm looking for professional opinions on a few different types of items. It's mostly work related and I can't go to much into it, but it was something I was asked to check into and though this would be a good start. First: ALS Technologies. Anyone heard of them or used them? Second: Less lethal Munitions. Bean bag rounds etc. Any type better than the other? I've seen the bags, one that shoots out 3 large pellets, an OC rocket?? Third: Less lethal launcher. Go for 12 gauge rounds or a 37/40MM multiple round type device as in an actual launcher? Fourth: Smoke grenades, OC/CS grenades. Good for crowd dispersal? What types? Lastly for my own private wants and enjoyment. What all is involved in getting a 40MM attachment for my AR? No real reason. I just was curious. Before I get 3 pages of jokes on here do me a favor guys keep it to a minimum please? This is not for my own personal ninja rambo army it's legitimate business related stuff so I need real honest opinions on the products. Thanks folks.
  10. Just trying to add some levity. Air is getting a little thick around here.
  11. Yea. I'm still 60/40 on it, but I'm just calling into question the issue of breaking the law. I know it's being debated in the other thread, but it seems iffy to me.

    HA!
  13. Oh. My. God. Mike I thought of a name for you a band. ONE NIGHT ONLY LADIES AND GENTLEMAN Magic Mike and The Dead Hookers!!! Special Guest: The Crazy Critter Chipmunk Band !
  14. OK let me be clear on this? Other states allow people that are under 21 to get a handgun permit, but they can't purchase ammo or a firearm from an FFL under Federal Law. I'm not a lawyer, but this seems like a no go to me. I understand that TN says "honor it's terms" and all on a permit from another state, but it would seem that carrying under 21 in this state with an out-of-state permit would be one of those things that defaults to our set of rules. Things like restaurant carry, etc. Just seems like it would be a big legal issue, especially for most street cops that aren't gonna know. I know and deal with firearm laws a fair bit and honestly this is the first I've ever heard of a state issuing a permit to or allowing anyone under 21 to carry a loaded handgun.
  15. I'm all for your right to carry and all, but you're carrying a loaded gun around on you at 19? Not very responsible or smart. You realize if you ever have to use it you could be facing some serious legal issues right? Like a murder charge potentially?
  16. 8+1 and a spare 8rd mag. Usually 5 extra mags in my MAX bag if I'm in the car or whatever.
  17. Screw that! F compromising and F the Dems. I want restaurant carry period. Not ANOTHER restriction. Do I drink when I carry? NO. I don't need some jackass Democrat peon telling me another thing I can't do. Give us what we want and go back to your hookers and blow. I'm done compromising with people WE PUT IN OFFICE! This is my damn country, my freedom, and my right to live and defend myself. It's illegal to be under the influence ".08" and carry. There is already a law. Leave it be.
  18. Well we can just become pirates. Take what ya can and give nothing back! YAR!
  19. MMMMMM! That taste good don't it son?!
  20. You honestly gotta wonder what the deal is. It's like they think he's gonna come rescue them or something lol
  21. LOL good stuff man.
  22. More or less, but mostly it was Blagojevich and is Daly. No telling what the deal is up there. Their whole political climate smells.
  23. So now that he's out I wonder if Illinois might get some new gun laws?
  24. Due to certain issues I cannot say how I became privy to this info, but here is the story as I'm aware of it. "While subduing a violent psychotic today he began screaming that he was God. This is not unusual for people on drugs or that are mentally ill to claim. However this particular person then began to loudly chant Obama! Obama! and Obama will save me! Deliver me from the white man Obama! This repeated for several minutes until he was subdued. Needless to say out of the probably 10 people involved and anyone within ear shot it was an interesting experience." I thought you would all enjoy that. Take it away folks.
  25. I honestly don't think it's cool at all. Actually I hate having to lug the damn thing around during the heat of summer. I don't carry a life preserver because I don't live on the water. Don't carry a lightning rod cause I stay in when it rains. Don't jump out of planes much so no need for the old parachute either. I wasn't trying to bash you or call you out or anything. I just hear alot of people that carry say "Well I just want it for my car or for when I go to a bad area. That's all good and well, but you're carrying a gun cause your afraid at some point in your life you might need said gun to defend yourself or your family. How do you know when that time will be? I choose to have mine wherever and whenever I'm able so that I don't have to wish I had it when I needed it when I stopped to get a coke and a slim jim at the 7-11. Different strokes and all. Rock on.
