  1. We can't all be God's children Daniel.
  2. That'd probably work fine too lol Go all Burn Notice on them and start talking into your watch and then snap a couple flash pics of there license plate. They'll either think you are nuts or you have the most high-tech neighborhood watch in the state.
  3. It's like Grand Theft Auto the movie!
  4. I didn't read anything in his post about the guy shooting himself...
  5. I'd say casing. Keep an eye out. Next time wave at them and yell something friendly. "Hey can I help you gentlemen find something?!" It's non-confrontational and it lets them know they've been noticed. If they are up to no good they'll more than likely leave.
  6. Wow. He must have bought a 1911.

    Rebel Yell

Those movies were just brilliant. I got to see FotR before it even came out at a screening and seeing it on the big screen was overwhelming. Yes, I am a nerd.

Well. That was the strangest thing I've ever heard. I would have liked to be a part of this charge. Fictional as it may be, but it still gives me chills. [ame] [/ame]
  10. Get a good quality IWB holster and wear it just behing the hip. As long as your shirts aren't skin tight you'll be fine. I'm 6'3 and around 170. I also carry a 1911. My general rule of thumb is if a Medium size t-shirt is what I normally wear than I need a Large to cover it. It doesn't have to be baggy, just not skin tight. I tell people all the time that if you want to conceal certain guns you HAVE to compromise on your dress style. If you refuse either get a smaller gun or OC. I'm not a big fan of everyday OC. I support it, but I don't like losing the element of surprise that being a citizen with a concealed firearm provides.
  11. Surefires really aren't that badly priced considering the abuse they'll take and that Surefire will pretty much replace it no mater what if it breaks.
  12. ROFLMAO "Next week on Mythbusters..."
  13. When ya gotta go dude... Welcome to the board by the way!
  14. HA! I keep mine behind my DL. I like to laugh at people who flip there badge wallet out with their permit and crap in it. Well that's friggin' great there Dick Tracy, but I just needed your driver's license.
  15. Yea like a 1000 TIMES. It's getting old honestly. Nobody knows what they'll do until they are faced with the situation. You can be prepared and ready, but honestly I don't think alot of people have the stomach to kill another person anymore. It's alot of macho bravado and very patriotic and hip right now to talk about fighting the government and fighting for our freedoms, but I'd honestly guess that maybe 30-40 % of this board would actually fight and continue to do so. If that many. People are brought up different in this century, things are not like they were during the Revolution or even the Civil War. People are spoiled and self-serving. It's just how it is.
  16. Don't think I owe, but I'm probably getting like 100 bucks back. I screwed up my exemptions on my checks through the year and they weren't taking much out. Then I won some money in a contest and that's gonna get me.
  17. SWEET! So is it like Pirates of the Caribbean or more like Treasure Island? Not that there is much of a difference, but I'm all out of pirate jokes this morning. I apologize and will attempt to bring pirate humor back by 1500 hours.
  18. That whole One Team One Fight slogan must have gotten lost on you huh?
  19. There is alot of truth in that. I'm pretty well versed in shooting all different types of guns and am fairly accurate with anything I pick up. HOWEVER, certain guns fit me much better and I shoot alot better with them. 1911 is a ragged hole Glock or XD and we're talking enough to hit COM, but nothing to brag at the range about.
  20. *hugs* Aww you're my buddy!
